      Do you talk to dream characters same way as you talk in regular dreams?

      I'm curious. How do you talk to DCs in lucid dream? Are you avare, that you are moving your mouth, or is it like telepathically? In my regular dreams, I don't think I'm opening my mouth to speak. Is it hard to talk to DCs? Thanks.

      In lucids I talk like I normally do in real life, without much effort. I've never once used telepathy but I'm interested in trying it out. As for regular dreams, it's a bit hard to compare them to lucids because since you aren't that conscious of your body or actions, it may be harder to actually tell whether you were physically talking or not. With good recall you could probably determine that, though; I've personally never used telepathy in non-lucids.
      We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
      some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      I hardly ever talk to DCs, not by choice, they're just never around. When I do though, it's just like regular speech.

      When I talk to a dream character in a lucid dream, I talk to them just how I would in real life. Like Puffin said I too have not tried using telepathy but that seems like it would be a more interesting way to get dream characters to do what you want them to do. I do actually notice a difference in the way I talk to dream characters, in a non lucid I seem to talk to them like a deer in the headlights. I just seem to agree with them a lot, and just talk a lot more naive and stupid I guess. I don't find it hard to talk to them, but if you seem to be having trouble you just need to relax and just talk to them how you would talk to anyone in real life. Just be casual about it! DC's don't bite!

      Hope that answers your question, good luck!

      I only mentioned telepathy, because I'm not aware of myself when I'm talking in regular dreams, so I wasn't sure if talking feels more real in lucids than in regular dreams. So I guess it does, as everything else feels more real. Can't wait to finaly experience it myself.

      It usually seems more "telepathic" in my LDs, but it's different each time, it's not hard to talk to them relaly

      Like normal speech.

      I'm going to try telepathy though, sounds like a really cool idea.

      I talk normally in my LDs. I assume I talk normally in my non-lucid ones as well.

      I do, but it's usually when I'm trying to convince them they aren't real and that this is just a dream. The people I create aren't really doing it for me anymore, though. I've still not figured out a way to talk to myself.

      Anyway, these people get really upset when they find out they're not real, so much so that once exposed they never show up in my dreams again. Weird

      Well, wouldn't you get upset if someone insisted you weren't real? ^^;
      Actually, I know for a fact you'd get upset. Your DCs are part of your subconscious, so they'd probably have the same characteristics as you, unless you changed them on purpose.

      (well, I wouldn't really know that for a fact... I'm going off on a limb again )
