New and confused

Hey guys, I've just joined this sight and am trying to mingle.

I have known about lucid dreams for a while now but have only started trying to have them for the past two months. Anyway a week ago I think I may of had one but it was odd. I kinda had a dream that I was lucid. Its hard to explain. Any thoughts on the matter?

Sorry guys, I didnt really know how in depth I should of gone. Well the dream was that I was walking through a really dull junk yard and then I saw a floating piece of paper. I didn't reognise it as out of place but something in me said omg Im lucid. The voice then told me to calm down and try to fly so but I could only float.

Anyway it was very weird becase it was as if I hadnt realised I was dreaming more like this other me in the dream realised. Hope this gives mre info on the dream.

This does indeed sound like a lucid dream. The clarity and your own ability to think clear varies in lucid dreams. Some of them are extremely vivid and you can think almost as clear as you would in waking like, whereas some are kind of confusing and your ability to think clear isn't that great. Regardless of how the quality and control is, it still counts as a lucid dream.
