G'Day, dreamers!
Hey, how are you all?
I finally joined up to DreamViews after about a month or two of lurking. I've had 6 fully lucid dreams in the 3 months since I've learnt about it, and hope to get many more! I joined up here basically to keep myself motivated. When I was younger, I used to lucid dream quite frequently because of a silly little game me and my siblings used to play that made me aware in dreams.
I want to start recalling my dreams again because I've started to become lazy and not fill out my dream journal. My success so far has come from DILD's every time, MILD is the next closest technique I can get working.
So basically, I'm here to kickstart myself back into lucid dreaming!
Thanks for having an awesome community!

Well, to be perfectly honest, I can't remember how the game worked since it was so long ago. I do know, however, that we had a competition to see who could lucid dream the most. My sister invented a technique where she would close her eyes really tightly to "change the channel" of what she was dreaming about. All I did was think that when I'm dreaming, all I have to do is change the channel to gain control. It let me shape the landscape of the dreams.
I know there was more too it, and it's bugging me that I can't remember it haha
EDIT: Yep, thanks for the welcome both of you!

The techniques kids come up with to lucid dream are really fascinating. My little brother has been doing WILDs for quite some time and he's only 10.

Yeah, my son is almost 4 and I am sure he has been lucid dreaming for a while now. Every night I ask him what he is going to dream and he always thinks of something new. In the morning when I ask him what he dreamed it is not always the same, but it always sounds like he was in control and had fun.
EDIT: Thanks for trying to remember!

Welcome to DV! That game definitely sounds fascinating. If you remember anything else, definitely share it if you're willing :) I'd love to hear more about it.

Yo, welcome! Do share anything that comes up about that game you used to play. Awesome that you were already lucid dreaming when being a kid.
