Thread: Dream sex, but with the same gender?

It's really weird. Like almost everytime i dream, i get this strange urge to kiss and have sex this boy that i know from school (my friend Chris) and im a boy too. We're both finished 7th grade and are going into 8th. But it's weird though. Like, i kiss my friend on the lips sooo hard and i even spit kiss him, too (spit kissing is when u trade spit with the person ur kissing. U spit in their mouth while kissing them and they spit in yours.) and i could even feel his spit going in my mouth. I REALLY get into it, but seriously, i don't know why. Can someone tell me why im dreaming about having extreme sex with my friend Chris?

Maybe you're bisexual? There's nothing wrong with that nor is it a big deal, it just means gender holds very little importance to you. I could be wrong, I only mention bisexuality because you're just entering you're teen years so you may not be fully aware of your sexuality yet.

I think I may be somewhat of help since I am also a teenager (in high school) I know what it's like to have urges like that it's because your becoming an adult and your hormones are going nuts it's like their having a rave in your body. But I am straight, but like GavinGill said if your bisexual, gay, or straight. It doesn't matter and their is nothing wrong with that. So what I did and I thought really hard if I liked men (in that way) and I came to the conclusion that I did not. so here are some

answers/suggestions:

1. dig deep inside yourself for answers ( meditation usually helps )

2. You don't know what your sexuallity is yet so just give it time (it's the hormones TRUST me)

3. This might be the most important soulution, TALK to someone, about the problems your having but don't give them information like spit kissing, just some advice

There's nothing to be alarmed about, it might mean you're bisexual (or gay), but it might also not. It could also just be curiosity, so just don't worry about it, you'll have time to find out which one it is when you're older. Either way, there's nothing wrong with it

I think you might be either bisexual or gay. Or you might just be experimenting or discovering your sexuality.

You can actually influence you sexuality. Especially at that young an age. If you are constantly around say girls all day, at school, at work, where you live, etc etc, most likely you won't turn gay. Same thing applies for being surrounded by boys all day at school, at home etc etc. That's why you hear all those stories like in Prison and that. Environment influences your preferences. It could be anything, depending on where you live.

I would hazard a guess you have a really strong bromance with your friend Chris. You may not like him that way (or think you don't), but it has crossed your mind on some level at some point.

And anyways, it's up to you. Nobody here minds/cares which way you go.

Um I think maybe you have the influencing example crossed if you're around girls like hanging out with them constantly you hear them speak about liking boys and you know girly stuff so you being a boy hanging with grils would want to talk about these things too so i guess you'd turn gay trust me i've seen it happen to kids i knew while i was in kindergarden they're bi or gay now its nothing wrong with being gay.

But i dont think you are at some point in time you've must of thought about it which is only natural since you're just hitting that stage.But i've had a dream like this only it was my mom and i woke up and was really confused it happend when i was in 7th grade. I knew i didnt think my mom was hot or anything its just that i was growing up and i was having certain urges.because im closest to my mom i think thats why it was her maybe ur rlly close to ur friend and thats why it was him.

I had this time before where i didnt know weather i was gay, bisexual or straight. Its just hormones at their work Try not to worry about it so much and just except what you are . If your straight in real life, i wouldnt take out of consideration that you are Bi, but dont confirm it until your 100% sure.

No one is ever 100% one of the three. You are always inclined more to one, but there is always something in your for one of the others, just not as strong or obvious.

Umm Origami, you can't "turn gay". And most leading psychologist today claim sexuality is not a choice and is not something you can change, you can google that.
Speaking as a bisexual, I can assure you it doesn't matter if I hang out with girls more or with boys more, my sexuality remains unchanged.
Oh and the Kinsey Scale is not random lol, it's based on Professor Kinsey's research. You can watch the movie Kinsey that is about Professor Kinsey's life, and is actually a very good movie, I highly recommend it.

So for hellfire135 I just gotta say don't worry about, it's not something you choose, and it might even turn out to be just some curiosity. You definitely don't have to start hanging out with girls or do anything about it, since it probably won't affect it anyway.

I am bisexual myself as well and I knew/realized my attraction to both sexes when I was about this age.

I don't mean you hang out with your bro's for a day then suddenly become gayer. I mean after prolonged exposure you could develop a liking or perhaps a tolerance of certain genders. You can choose which sexuality you have, but no like the drop of a hat or pick n mix. More like you can influence it then.

Just some basic research in standard psychology and some classes on the subject. Even the standards of psychology conflict with each other on this subject...i.e. behavioral psychology (B. F. Skinner) and environmental psychology (willy Hellpach) and so on.

The main consensus of today's psychologists and researchers is that its a whole bunch of factors both from genes and the environment.

My main belief is that its both nature and nurture, as is the same with everything else about your appearance and your personality. You may have a predisposition in your genes to be gay or bi, but if you are brought up in certain surroundings it may or may not manifest. The same goes for height, weight, and the like.

Just basic common sense and observation. Much of what hprib012 said is what I was getting at.

I won't comment anymore on this thread because it is a very controversial subject and I don't want to start a very heated argument, but I find the things some of you are saying very ignorant and I think they just come from lack of knowledge.
You can't really say that you can choose to be gay just because it seems convenient to say so. You aren't leaning on any studies that have been done on the subject, you're just saying that it seems like it's a choice and therefore it is.
Anyway I strongly believe that sexual orientation is not a choice, nor is it influenced by hanging out with boys or girls. It doesn't matter if you hear girls saying they like boys, that doesn't cause you to be attracted to boys. I suggest you read up more on the subject.
I will not comment any more in this thread for the reasons I said above.
