Hi I am new here, I have had 3 Lucid Dreams all occurring within the last two months and the last two within two weeks of each other. The only time I have these dreams is when I have had a previous dream and I question what I was doing ten minutes ago and how events can't be real such as being in my old house and stroking my dog who has been dead for 6 years. All my dreams occur in well known places to me, my old house, my local shopping mall and my Grandma's house. I never meet any strange characters, only family members and I can never clearly distinguish their features. My dreams do appear to be getting stronger so to speak, I am more aware of my surroundings than I ever was in my first dream. Yet I often flit into areas without knowing how I got there like the kitchen to the garden. However, I have heard about layers of lucidity this morning and wondered if anybody could help me further with this? How do I make my dreams stronger and last longer and be able to control them. I mean I tried last night to get my grandad to say something in my dream and he did, but everything is always so hazy, like I'm drunk. How do I make my dreams clearer, I mean it's not like I know that I am in bed asleep or that characters are not real, but I do know I am dreaming. I would really like to fly eventually. Any help would be appreciated thanks |

"If you have a dream, don't wait. Act. One of life's little rules. Got it memorized?"

Activate your senses. Rubbing your hands, shouting out commands like; "Vividness increase!" and really focusing are great ways of improving the quality of the dream. Also if you want the dream to last longer, keep on doing RC's throughout the dream but try not to focus on the fact that you're lying in bed. It will most likely wake you up. And NEVER close your eyes. |
