Hello there, DV
Hey! I'm Andi, I'm a 21 year old Communications student, vegan and audiovisual media amateur.
My boyfriend (abrahamg) introduced me to this site. He has far more experience in the LD area than me as I've just begun to try (slowly getting there!).
Anyway, we're very excited and hope to meet people that share our interests : )

Welcome to the Forum Andi :) Most everyone here is just dying to be asked for their help if you have any questions so you will be well taken care of. Looking forward to seeing you around the site!

I don't like helping people.
*stomps around and acts grumpy*
*knocks stuff over*

Hi all! I had an account here a few years back, but created this new one to get started L'Diing again, that's why this shows as my only post. It's great to be back!

Thank you all for such a warm welcome! I am currently catching up on my dream recall and getting around to doing reality checks everyday (NOT an easy thing to remember btw) But am I right to recommend to andivert to begin with these two steps? As I understand it she's always had amazing, naturally occurring dream recall, so should she still write dream down every morning? I would think it'd help her identify her dream sign at the very least, right? I seriously don't remember as well as I should how I got started several years ago :P
-
Yes, that's a good start - as for identifying dream signs, one has to be aware enough in the dream to recognize them, so I recommend practicing general awareness. If you maintain a state of consciousness and analyze what you do and why you're doing it, it helps induce a LD. :)
-
You mean general awareness in waking life? As in being conscious your awake and what you are doing all day long?
-
Yep, exactly that. I have my own guide for it (Puffins DILD Guide) here, and KingYoshi also has a great guide explaining it here.
