Vivid dreams, sometimes lucid, usually running/fighting-constant dreaming

Hi, I found this forum through google and hope soemone can help/advise about how to take more control of my dreams or how to stop them so i can get some decent sleep. Or wonder if anyone else has this sort of thng, because i feel very weird when describing it to people who don't remember/have many dreams mainly because they look at me like i'm odd.

I haven't yet intended to lucid dream but have taken control of the dreams myself by frocing an action during dreams that i was being led again. Most of my dreams are 'action dreams' - i'm running, fighting, surviving or working through a puzzle or maze. I've often stopped myself from completing on purpose and going another way to what my dream people/situations try to push (which tends to make the dreams go a bit wonky and the dream peoples/situations less friendly).

I have very vivid dreams almost every night and can almost always remember in great detail, and often remember more than one and the 'switch' between dreams. I can also snooze my alarm, feeling a great legathy' and continue the dream' when awake, yet not force myself to end it or get up.

I am constantly exhausted and can only get decent sleep if i've worked my butt off to almost keeling over by running, am drunk as a skunk or have taken sleep tablets (yet still sometimes i dream with these, just less likely). My doctor gave me sleeping tablets, but i don't have many (apparently they are addictive) and they make me feel more tired and sluggish during the day aalthough i don't often dream with them.

During the day i have lapses of concentration and often find myself somewhere not remembering how i got there (for example, I walked on autopilot to my car, got in and backed out of the driver, only to suddenly 'come to' when on the road). I also have occassional lapses of judgement and feel very tired during the day.

      Exactly Same situation here..T^T
I'm so tired, felt like my mind have never rested.
Finding ways to calm my mind down..
How do you cope with it?
Seen a doctor yet? (If Yes, what did he/she says?)
      Goals:
      1. Attacking my enemies instead of running away from them~ Ultimately taking control of my dream situation.
      2. Remember that I can always summon a shield around me to protect myself in dreams. No need to fear!

Okay, it's not the dream that are making you tired so there's no need to stop them. What else has been going on in your life? Are you feeling stressed? Have you tried going maybe a week or so without the sleep tablets? If you have how much better did you feel? If you havent I would recommend maybe just not taking them for a week and seeing what happens. Also what is causing you not to be able to sleep without the medication?
