For me, I was having the same thing, but I found out I had severe sleep apnea. So I was waking up about 70 times an hour, thus, having short fragment dreams. But I guess in your case its probably just a bad recall spell. |

For three nights in a row, All i've had is dream fragments. Short little dreams. Only lasting from a couple seconds to a minute. True this is a little disappointing, because I already made it to one full length lucid. But I'm going to stay optimistic and not let a dream rut get me too bad |

Yip, it's got to do with recall, as you build your recall you will slowly build vividness, higher dream recall, and you will probably remember everything that happened. So all you need to do is work on your recall by doing a dream journal or mantra or whatever you doing now. Another thing you should consider is what you do before sleep. So if you didn't get much sleep or you drank something before you slept this could affect your recall. Then there is also the possibility that you going through a dry stage, which means just keep on trying and your recall will return |
