      Sleep Paralysis

Is it possible to wake up in the middle of the night and try to attempt a WILD but when you reach the stage of "Sleep Paralysis" and not get to the Lucid dream state but be stuck in the sleep paralysis?

You mean stuck forever? Not a chance. Most amount of time I have ever heard is 10 seconds. Myself two nights ago, not even 5 seconds.

You subconscious wakes up and you are no longer paralyzed.

I'm pretty sure this is what happens, but don't quote me on it.

I'm a beginner at WILDing and lucid dreaming in general, but I will try to answer your question (assuming you don't mean stuck forever). If you are not tired enough or are to tense to relax deeper than partial SP then yes definitely you will be "stuck" in sleep paralysis. So far I haven't been able to hold onto sleep paralysis long enough, but it has been suggested that if you are not close to a REM cycle you will be stuck in SP until you start dreaming. Any one with greater knowledge and understanding correct me if I am misleading BrandonMac

yes it happens all the time, in fact every time we wake up there is a chance that it will happen, but you will not be stuck in this fro too long maybe few seconds.
