Im having trouble remembering my dreams...

I've been writing down my dreams for the past few weeks. At first i was able to remember my dreams and write down every detail when i was having my normal dreams, but now when i start lucid dreaming, i can't remember a single thing in my dreams, i can only remember small but certain parts of them. So what should i do?

Dream recall comes and goes. I could recall more than ten dreams total a few months ago, now I don't recall more than six. It depends on how much you sleep, what you've eaten probably plays a part in it all aswell, stress and intentions. Also how much you've trained yourself and how much time you spend on trying to recall in the morning.

Matte is totally right. Don't get discouraged. Even if you don't remember much journal it. And remember to be consistent. Don't stop for too long or your recall will fade.

Something else you can try....If you are in a recall slump, it may be a good idea to try and set a couple alarms throughout the night (after 4 hours & 6 hours of sleep). That way you can wake up and record your dreams right after they happen. This will prevent them from being forgotten as the night progresses. You could do this for a couple nights to try and get back on track. Good luck and stay positive!
