HI W.I.L.D. help...
Hello everyone, I'm new here! I've been observing this place for a while and have decided to join. So, here's the stuff:
I've learned about lucid dreams from this girl in my class who wrote a speech on the subject. After that I was incredibly inspired by her. Ever since I've been attempting to have one with no luck... until a few days ago! I only had a DILD (probably from thinking about lucid dreams all the time). I kept on trying the WILD but just couldn't do it. I then tried to combine it with WBTB unsuccessfully. I will not give up on WILD because I want to induce lucid dreams willingly.
This is my problem: I go through the WILD with no no problem in remaining conscious. I go through SP after a while and then wait for the HI which never come. I try to visualize and make the blobs of color into SOMETHING AT ALL. At least geometric shapes like at least a few squares or something... How long do you wait for HI to appear??? I wait for a looooong time before I give up and go to sleep. I wait approximately 15 min. with no hope.
Can anyone please give me some tips on the HI? Keep in mind I will not give up on WILD! Thanks!
I someone can help I will be that happy ---> :bliss:

Howzit and welcome!
While you are waiting for HI to appear, try and relax even further... slow down your breathing and tell every muscle in your body to sleep, one at a time.
Maybe also try a WILD during an afternoon nap if you are opposed to WBTB.

Hmm, you say you give up and got to sleep, but going to sleep is a key part of the WILD process. If you are trying to manipulate your HI (the blobs of color are HI), you are likely doing too much. If you are too focused/active during the WILD process, you will not be able to progress. Just relax and allow SP/HI/HH to do its thing. WILD is a bit of a delicate process that takes a certain amount finesse. You will just have to continue to practice and get more and more used to the process. The key is to keep your mind active enough so you don't lose consciousness, but not to the point where you are unable to fall asleep. Good luck to you and if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
