First lucid dream, completely on accident....OBE

Last night im pretty positive i experienced a lucid dream. From the little knowledge i have on lucid dreaming im pretty sure it was a WILD. I was interested in learning how to lucid dream a few years ago and tried many times with no sucess.....and much to my surprise last night i think i had one without even trying!

So heres how it happened.....i have pretty bad anxiety and recently got a new job which has had me a nervous wreck....anyways last night i was lying in bed for about 2 hours trying to fall asleep but was having much trouble because i was stressing about tha new job and whatnot. I always sleep with the tv on but decided to turn it off since i was having trouble falling alseep(i mention this only because it becomes important later). After about another hour i finally get really sleepy and drift into that state between sleep and wake. This is where things get wierd and confusing to me. I guess i fell asleep but i dont think i realized i was asleep at first...i just remember lifting my head up and peeking over the covers and looking at the tv which was on(this was in my dream)....after doing this several times something wierd happened, it felt like i was above myself looking down at myself on the bed sleeping. This feeling frightened me. But then something clicked in my head, i knew before i went to sleep that i had turned the tv off and that now it was on. As i mentioned earlier i had done some previous research into lucid dreaming, and somehow i realized that i was just dreaming.

Things get harder to explain from this point. After i realized i was dreaming i think i got excited and almost woke up. I dont remember being above my body anymore, all i remember is my body feeling really really heavy and almost paralyzed?? But somehow i dont wake up, and i start to do that peeking over the covers thing at the tv again. After doing this several times i decide im going to get up and walk around and turn the tv off.....and this is where things get hard to explain. When i tried to get up and walk i got "launched" head first at the tv and through the wall at what felt like must of been 100 miles per hour. Immediately after hitting the wall i was back in bed (felt like i was looking at myself from above though)....at this point i was sure that i was dreaming.

Now that i realized i was dreaming i wanted to fly (thats one of the things i always wanted to do if i ever experienced a lucid dream...that and have sex with carmen electra ). Things are hard to explain, but i remember i thought "im going to fly", and the same thing happens as before...i launch head first past the tv and through the wall, and then im right back to my bed. This is an incredibly odd feeling experience. I do it several times, and eventually i get past the wall and im flying (i say flying but it feels more like im getting shot out of a rocket) towards my roomates room...and then bam right back into bed. I get farther the next try and eventually make it into my roomates room and i see him sleeping? I was trying to fly at every one of these attempts, but the farthest i ever made it was through my wall;through my roomates wall; and then the very last time i made it through the roof from my roomates room but then i was instantly back in bed looking at myself.

After the last attempt i give up on flying and figure ill go for sex with carmen lmao. Ill save the details on this one, but it didnt work out much better than flying did. After awhile i wake up (with a raging boner i might add!). The first thought in my head was "i just had one of those lucid dream things".

Sorry that i couldnt explain things clearer, but this is the way i remember things happening. So tell me please, this was a lucid dream right????????

If you were aware of yourself inside the dream, if you could think freely, and perceive it as a dream, then yes, it was a lucid dream, as far as the description goes.
But, that was an odd experience alright. Never heard of anything like that before, sounds to me you were stopping yourself from fully enjoy your dreams. Or something was. Or your subconscious hates you, and does not want Carmen Electra inside it. The last one is probably true.
Alas, I'm sorry I can't help you with more, but do try to meditate the next time, be mentally prepared for the lucid dream to arrive, that should help, even if a bit.
