As soon as you wake up consentrate as hard as you can. Try and wake up several times during the night and do the same. When I first started id have to still be semi asleep like as soon as I open my eyes and think reallly hard and once you start to get a few images the rest should come together.I think it takes a certain rem level to remember immediatly I'm not sure tho. That's just how it works for me. Now I'm trying to have more control with my lucid dreams now |

Try not to move after you turn off your alarm. Just lay there for a minute and try to remember the dream. Doing that helped me a lot when I first started. And keeping a dream journal really helps improve your recall. Often I'll be writing a dream down and suddenly remember more details as I'm writing. |

"I'm trying to watch Clash of the Titans and all I can hear is the two of them screaming about Morris Day at the top of their lungs."
I'm a noob too, however one thing that I do instead an buzzing alarm is using music, to wake me, other wise the alarm will inject itself into my dreams. Maybe the alarm is causes your mind to be quickly distracted. |
