      DEILD suggestions

      Hey everyone!

I was reading up on DEILD method and thought it would probably work good for me because I almost always realize when I'm awake to write in my DJ. So last night I unsuccessfully (no suprise there ) tried it for the first time.

I allowed myself to wake up naturally to try it but I was thinking about using an alarm tonight. I can set it to just make a quick beeping noise and then stop without having to move. If the alarm wakes me and then I don't successfully DEILD, how long do you think I should reset it for?

If anybody has any suggestions for me I'd love to hear them! Thanks!!

I wouldnt use an alarm but by all means.

If your unsucessfull than reset it for about and hour but if its later in the night than you should only need like thirty minutes

Well I figure if I use the alarm I'll get more chances to try it. I only wake up 3 or 4 times.

      Thanks for the advice!

Yeah but with autosuggestion you can wake up after every dream. And you wont be dependent on an alarm

I'm already pretty good with autosuggestion because I do wake up after most of my dreams. Although I have fallen asleep while laying there trying to recall the dream a couple times though, lol. I definitely don't need an alarm, but if I use it to interrupt a dream before it's over, then I can try to DEILD more than just 3 or 4 times in one night, right?

Anyways, I tried it last night with the alarm and it didn't go well because the stupid alarm screwed up and wouldn't stop beeping at me. I fixed it now though so I guess I'll try it again tonight, but I'm debating whether or not to use the alarm.
