I have been trying to learn how to have a lucid dream for a while. Doing the dream log and all that good stuff. Last night it finally happened.
I was being transported somewhere and I was holding a piece of paper, suddenly I said to my self "wait, this is stupid," and I flung the paper out of my hands and that’s when I realized I was dreaming. The sensation was amazing; it felt like a few G forces were acting upon every part of my body at once. The sensation was very, very strong. It began to fade away, which in its self was a weird sensation, waking up, because normally you wake up after dreaming but this time I was already awake while I was waking up, except I could only move my imaginary self until the dream faded enough to where I could move my real arms and legs. I didn’t want to stop but I became overwhelmingly excited. I couldn’t go back to sleep for awhile afterwards, but this was such an AMAZING experience I cant stress that enough. It was well worth the time I have been spending trying to have a lucid dream. I’m glad my efforts paid off. Now hopefully I can begin to have lucid dreams more regularly, and hopefully they last longer. 8)
