Thread: Loud Noises

Hey guys, yesterday I had a lucid dream, or at least sleep paralysis. I remember being conscious for a bit, feeling the heavy lead blanket being laid down on me starting on my toes, and then suddenly, BOOM! It sounded like a thunder bolt went off in my ear. I screamed, woke up, and that was the end. I was wondering, is this normal?

I've had other times when something like this would happen. I had this one time where i saw my room, and everything seemed normal and real, but when I tried to get up to get a glass of water, I realized that I couldn't move. I felt like I was moving in super-slow motion, kind of like I was walking underwater, except when I would look at myself, I would still be lying on my bed. Then, strange lights started flashing out the window, and shadows started to look really freaky. Then high-pitched screeching sounds started piercing through my ears, and eventually became so loud that I woke up.

Are these loud noises during my lucid dreaming interrupting anything? And how can I stop them?
