Thread: Help?? Disturbing dream.

Please help me figure this out, mental anguish here.


Last night I had a dream that I was at a friends house late at night after a party. I was laying on a bed with my crush and we were just cuddling innocently, I dont remember what he was saying exactly but the word 'love' came up even though it was just an innocent, semi-flirty, snuggling bed type conversation.

Then there was a dream glitch in which I realized I was dreaming. I was suddenly standing up in the front room of my friends house and my crush was outside across the street walking towards the house. I got excited and went outside to meet him only to find that he was walking passed the house and not coming over to see me. He waved, but then kept walking. I ran after him only to see that he was full of mud and when i grabbed his arm to turn him around, he had been badly beaten.

He didn't want to turn around to let me see him but I finally forced him to. He was bleeding from an eye and from his mouth, all bruised, covered in mud and blood. Once I got a good look at him, he stopped resisting and let me take his face in his hands and kiss his forehead. Then I woke up.


Anybody have any kind of idea about what this could mean? I did realize that I was dreaming once there was that little dream glitch, I just don't really have any idea what it could mean that that dream go from so nice and feel-good to something so scary and deeply upsetting.
