Could this be the starting of sleep paralysis?

Hey everybody! So sometimes when I'm in bed and I'm not really moving that much my whole body starts to get numb and it comes in kind of waves (kind of hard to explain ^^') and after about like 30 seconds I start to get an erection. So I start to think that I'm starting to go into sleep paralysis. I lay there and you know keep calm so that I don't get out of it. But after like 2min of this, it all stops. So I don't know if I'm starting to enter sleep paralysis or what. Thanks for your help!

Yeah its the START of it, well at least the numbness part, if your body begins to feel heavy and you get HI, your in stage three which is almost stage 4 (sleep paralysis) your close , but... TBH i have no idea why you got an erection XD.

P.S: im a noob at this myself this MAY NOT be correct (but i think it is)

If you are feeling that you are going to get out of it in 2 minutes, just roll out of your body and enter into your dream.

Feeling of Erection or Real Erection? Can you explain?
(In SP everything is in Paralysis, and how this holy meat?)
Seems kinda special case that needs close attention.

If the feeling suddenly stops, just relax and keep doing what you are doing. When I get SP before a WILD, it often comes in several waves. It stops, then starts again in a few minutes.

Mine comes in waves as well. I think it's because when I know I'm on the very verge of SP, I anticipate it and tense my shoulders or change my breathing pattern (almost trying to will it to happen)...it always stops it from happening. It's very frustrating. When you start to feel it coming on, focus your attention on being completely calm and relaxed.
