New to Dreamviews
Ok so im new to this site , but i have known about lucid dreaming for about 7 months and have been reading around this site and learning stuff for about 6 month.
In total i have had approx 7 lucid dreams, I have experienced flying, driving a car and just walking around.
But i have not had a lucid dream for about 2 months because i just gave up on it ( it was to hard, waking myself up etc) and for a while it was starting to mess with me , like i thought about lucid dreaming all day and i would have rather to be in a dream then rl.
After going to see inception , ive decided i want to try to get back in to lucid dreaming and hoping i dont give up again.
What should i do to start having them again ?
What should i do to avoid the problems i was having before?
Thanks , Dreamer829

Hi there, I'm new here too.
I've found myself becoming a little obsessive myself over developing the skill of lucid dreaming and have been throwing myself at it over the past week. Thats fine but I'm on holiday at the moment and have plenty of free time, but I'll be crashing back into shift work soon enough :( I intend to set boundaries for myself regarding my activities in developing this skill, and to cultivate patience which I think is central to a sustained commitment to this venture.
I think you should start doing your dream journal again and don't judge yourself too harshly if it doesn't fill up as fast as you would like. Good luck :)

Hullo, dreamer829! :welcome:
I myself am new as well. Hope you can get that DJ started (I'll hope for the both of us) and that you find yourself well on your way to becoming a lucid masta!
But yes, like highrik I would say start a DJ and don't pressure yourself too much. Too much pressure can lead you to dropping a DJ before it becomes a habit. Just be persistent and I'll try to do the same!
P.S. I also saw Inception, which kinda triggered my resurgence in dream interest as well. You're not alone.
