It sounds like you're doing fine. Keep getting to know your dream life by building dream recall, and practice the reality checks. If you did go from zero to lucid in two days, that would be strange. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
As Taosaur said, usually people don't become lucid right away; it took me two weeks. It's completely normal for crazy stuff to happen in your dreams and to you it seems completely normal until you wake up. The purpose of reality checks is more to confirm suspicions that you might be dreaming, though sometimes RCs can cause you to realize you're lucid. It's more important to train yourself to question the world around you so that you start getting into the habit of asking if you're dreaming or not. Simple questions such as "Where am I?" "What am I doing?" "How did I get here?" and "Does this make sense?" can go a long way once you start getting into the habit of asking them of yourself. |
