When you get the chance, you should write up all of your thoughts on what you think worked, techs you used, sleep, etc. This will be the start of your record-keeping that over time will help paint a picture of what works best for getting you lucid as consistently as possible.
I plan on doing this very soon, I have a question if that's alright.
1) Ever since I started lucid dreaming, I've had a fairly hard time sleeping, I wake up 5-6 times throughout my sleep cycle which completely ruins everything. The excitement of doing a method and having the chance of going into a lucid dream makes it hard to sleep, fairly hard to explain I hope you understand. What can I do to stop this?
Thanks for the support, it's really appreciated. DV has been nothing but pleasant.

Notes:
Today is not my day, I usually use auto suggestion in order to naturally wake up. Unfortunately, everything has its flaws. I really don't want to use an alarm clock do to it being fairly disturbing. I don't recall anything today, no faces, no emotions, no images, nothing.
Just posting to get into the habit.
