      SGilley's Workbook

Just sort of a short history of me and LDing: When I was about 6 or 7, I was walking through my house when I looked at my father's bookcase and saw that he had a book called, "Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge (I now am acquainted with LaBerge, and if I hadn't read his books I wouldn't be where I am today). I saw it had a cool (for a 6 year old) design on the front and I wondered what it meant. I found my dad and asked him what lucid dreaming meant. He said it was the ability/phenomenon of being self-aware in a dream, or being able to control yourself in a dream and not only realize that it was a dream when I woke up. I thought that was really cool and asked him if he had ever done it. He said he learned how to do it on his own when he was a kid and did all kinds of cool stuff such as flying, etc. I immediately thought that I should do it, but being the little kid that I was I forgot about it the next day. It wasn't until about last December that I saw the LaBerge book on the bookshelf again and I asked myself what it meant. I then remembered what my dad had told me and I researched it on the internet. I found DV and I've lurked on here ever since now. So yeah. That's my story. Hope you guys can help me and I'll be posting any new info on what I attempt here in my workbook.

      Reality Checks:
-Pushing my middle and pointer finger through my palm
-Looking very closely at my palm
-Touching a door before I go through it
      -Multiplying 9 * 7
-Plugging my nose and trying to breathe through it

      Dream Signs:
      -Karate (?)
      -
      -

      Short-Term Goals:
      -Have a lucid dream
      -Successfully WILD
      -Successfully DILD

      Long-Term Goals:
      -Meet my dream guide
-Have at least 1 LD per month (very long-term! )
      -Transform into a dragon
      -Summon something cool
      -Teleport
-Move up on DV if I can

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
-I have a really easy time remembering my dreams, (I found a good technique for me is not thinking, "What did I just dream about?", but rather, "What did I just do?") but I'm still working on remembering very fine details (trying ADA at the moment)

      Current Technique:
      -DILD
      -Many failed WILDS
