Here's my workbook ^_^ and I've kept a dream journal here with dream views since I joined Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views - Mydera - Dream Journals

So far today I did my first reality check at my mom's house when the power flickered and everything was super bright for a moment, it was the pinch your nose one. I questioned myself several times, "am I awake or am I dreaming?" because I rarely see my mom in waking life, but see her all the time in my dreams, but I didn't back them up with any physical RCs.

As for dream signs, I have a few:

• Usually in my dreams my hair is past my shoulders and my natural color, in waking life my hair is only ear length and carries a reddish stain from when I used to dye it last year.
  
• I see my mom a lot in dreams, and whenever I do, it becomes a nightmare.
  
• I also don't have my kids with me in 75% of my dreams, when in waking life I'm a stay at home mom and have them with me 24/7.
  
• I have had a reoccurring dream character I call K for a year or so. He's not anyone I know, though I saw someone who looked like him a couple months back. He is the only reoccurring dream character I have, but I only see him in non-lucids. He's actually the reason I started looking into lucids, because he'd show up in so many dreams when no other dcs ever reappeared. A few times he'd actually tell me that I was dreaming and push me to question my dream and why I was dreaming things the way they were, before I learned about lucid dreaming.
  
• I frequently dream of high school and people I knew in high school, even though it's been 7 years since I graduated and saw most of them!
  
• And lastly, I dream a lot of hanging out with my best friend, but in waking life she's six states and 12 hours away.

Welcome to the class! :) The dream character, 'K' sounds like an interesting dream sign; especially since he tries to get you to question your dream - have you tried talking to him? Sounds like a possible dream guide to me! If you get the chance to in a lucid dreaming, try talk to him and ask why he's there, it could results in some pretty interesting questions.

Thanks Forceez. I think your right about K, he's definitely a huge motivation for lucid dreaming if not a dream guide. I have spent most of my lucids trying to find him, and I never can. He shows up in non lucids a lot these days, but whenever I'm searching in lucids things always go wrong... and the two weeks I was having a lucid every couple of nights, I didn't see him at all. It's very frustrating! But just when I was about to give up because my recall was getting bad, he showed up again on Easter and was all, "Have you been looking for me? Did you miss me?" like he knew I was giving up and was trying to keep me on track, lol. I found the problem with my recall, and it's back up now, so I've got to get lucid again and have it last more than a few seconds so I can go back on the hunt :) I have a ton of questions to ask!

Perhaps that's a "don't look for him, he will look for you" kind of thing? :P I'm sure you'll find him eventually.

Last night I read the first couple of chat logs before bed, then went to bed. I have a hard time falling asleep though, so I spent 2 1/2 hours laying in the dark trying to fall asleep. When I slept, I had the following dreams: (shortened versions, the long boring walls of text are in my dream journal, lol)

Dream One: I was watching scenes change, almost like watching tv. Trees on the hwy, a professional lawn mower, and my friend Tracy. It enever occured to me I was watching a dream -_-

Dream Two: I had odd vertical wounds on my sides, and was asking DCs what happened. I was aware that something wasn't right, but I didn't think to reality check or anything... I was just asking people what was up with the weird lines. I end up saving Rini from sailor moon, and finding a baby.

Dream Three: I was at the beach with my family, but my husband moved the car. I spent most of the dream trying to find my aunt (who had my kids!) to tell her the car was moved. I encountered several obstacles, but never realized it was a dream

Then, I woke up before my kids and couldn't fall back asleep despite being extra sleepy because of not being able to sleep. I decide to get up and write my dream journal. I made sure to RC because my kids never sleep later than me, they're usually the ones waking me up! I hung out with my grandma (we live w/ her because she can't afford to take care of herself,) and talked to my kids a bit. After being up a couple hours, I went back to bed for a nap. My nap lasted about 2 hours, taking in account for the hour it took me to fall asleep. I had a long DILD (yay!) during that time:

I was trying to water my garden... at Toys R US, lol. I was having trouble getting water from the fountain without getting water creatures in the water as well. A storm came, and the dream shifted to my old house. Fearing a man was going to kill everyone, I left the house to find him. A centaur in my driveway sparked lucidity. No need to RC, ha ha. I managed better control than in my last several lucids by growing wings and making a weapon, though it's not the weapon I wanted to make. I tried to lock the bad guy in my house, and instead turned him into a sweet old granny and made my "house" my bedroom. I told dream Granny I wanted to see K when she told me it was my birthday. I looked at my hands, changed a ring that was on them, and then found a gift from my mom. I hid the gift from mom hoping to avoid a nightmare. Dream Granny gave me stuff I already own as a birthday gift, and then K showed up. He told me I couldn't lucid dream, but I told him I could and I am, so he said he was happy to have lied (I guess lying by saying I couldn't lucid dream, b/c if it was true I wouldn't be lucid?) Then kissed me causing me to wake up and end the dream. -_-

That was definitely progress because I haven't had a lucid that long in over a month, and the only lucid that was longer than that as probably my very first one. Most of my lucids are a minute or two long, tops. Also I haven't had good control in my lucids since my first, so that was another improvement. Then there's the whole actually doing something in my dream an not just running off looking for K, that I am very proud of. I didn't think this class would start working so well so quick, lol. I'm going to read the other couple of chat logs now.

*face palm* You know, I joined back in February, and until you said something, I didn't even realize that DJ Entries number was a link! lol

I didn't sleep much last night again, between getting sick and then waking up too early. All I had were dream fragments:

Dream One: I got lucid twice, but the lucidity was fleeting at best and oddly the only parts I remember. The first time I realized I was dreaming, and saw a puppet. When the puppet was talking I dot sucked back into the dream. The second time was in a ball room. I became lucid when someone offered me their hand to dance, but my head felt heavy and everything went black.

Dream Two: I saw a white sheet. I realized I was dreaming, not sure what caused that though. Then was startled awake.

Dream Three: I dreamed of a library and a fairy tail cottage, but again it was just fragments.

I've reality checked a couple times today. The most weirdest time being when the post office actually gave my husband a package that we were supposed to get in the mail today, at the post office. They always tell me I have to wait until it arrives, that I can't just come up there and pick it up. :/ That was definitely weird and unexpected.

Is it possible to choose more than one induction method for this class? I already do reality checks for DILDs, but I also want to try with MILDs and WILDS... Is it best to just pick one and stick with it, or will using all three offer a better chance? I've gotten lucky the last couple of days with getting lucid in dreams because I'm on here so much, but I've really only had a handful of spaced out ones up until now.

I've noticed that for alot of folks, it helps to pick one and stick with it, giving it a whole-hearted chance. However, DILDs are kind of a beginner induction technique. So if you are already successful at DILDs, then my suggestion would be to choose the MILD or WILD for the duration of this class. You can make it a kind of experiment for yourself and post the results. I just wouldn't switch them up during this class, so you can really give it a chance. Then if you find it's not for you, you can go back to DILDs or another technique when the class is over.

Thanks! In that case I'll probably try to stick with WILD, as it seems like you have more control in being lucid with it rather than a MILD where your just left hoping the message sinks into your subconscious. :)

After the chat last night, my husband got 5-HTP from Walgreens for me, and I started brainstorming a bedtime routine. I'm going to have to tweak it a bit because I ended up needing more to relax me before bed, but here's what I had decided to do after the kids went to sleep: Drink a glass of milk, eat a Banana, take the 5HPT along with my Prenatal Vitamin I take every night (I attribute my usually good recall to it, without it, my recall goes down the toilet.) After eating and taking my vitamins, I brush my teeth and potty, then sit in the dimly lit kitchen to write down my dream plans (I've done this every night for two weeks, to keep me on track with what I want to do if I get lucid, rather than risk getting excited and doing a bunch of nothing productive, lol), after I wrote out my dream plans, I went to bed, and tried meditating in the dark for about fifteen minutes, then I laid down and tried to sleep. I ended up getting the heavy limbs, feeling like I'm being pressed against the bed feeling really quick, but my mind would not shut down. Every now and then I'd get the swirling dots and colors that form a picture, but I kept seeing them and thinking, "Finally! I'm falling asleep!" and then that'd wake me up, ha ha. I laid down around midnight, and I had to get back up to potty again, and it was 1:17 then, so I know it still took a long time to get to sleep. I'm sure after a while of getting my body used to it though I'll start to go to sleep faster. What I finally did to get to sleep was put on some headphones and listen to Taylor Swift's songs for the Hunger Games... I heard both songs about 3 times each before I felt sleep coming and took the headphones off. I was finally out :) Here's shortened versions of my dreams:

Dream One: My friend M lived in a rabbit hole. She wasn't home, but I saw her drive by and wave.

Dream Two: I thought I had failed to fall back asleep, and got up to read and make myself tired again. I found a book out of my daughters in the floor, thought the story inside it was wrong, but the text didn't change when I tried to reality check with it, so I was sure I was awake... I was in fact, asleep and my reality check had failed, lol.

Dream Three: I was looking at weather radar and saw something odd, but didn't realize I was dreaming.

At this point my daughter had a nightmare and woke me up. It was 20 minutes before my WILD alarm, so I went ahead and tried to WILD. I found it near impossible to fall back asleep because around 5:15 is Grandma's alarm went off ( and she's too deaf to hear it so it went off for a long while, lol), then my neighbors started leaving around 5:30, and my husbands alarm went off at 6, then the bus came by at 6:15... I gave up and decided tonight I'm going to bed earlier and setting my alarm for 4 am!

Dream Four: A tornado hits while we're on our way home

Dream Five: I'm back in high school. I have alcohol in my book bag! a big storm is coming, so they're sending everyone home. The power goes out and people flip out and trample each other. My husband tells me he has to lock up at the lake before he can go home, so I need to to get our daughter. I get angry. Someone dies in a car accident, then my husband runs over someone. He takes my car since his is a crime scene now. I try to take the wheel, but he won't let me drive. When we get my daughter I climb into the drivers seat as soon as he's out and refuse to move. He storms off. I go to a wedding for a couple of hot lesbians, the storm still raging. A lady tells me my husband was run over. I follow a path of lights distraught and upset, to see my husbands ghost in a public bathroom. He tells me I didn't want him, I needed him, and that was a problem.

So, all in all, the 5-HTP helped me relax better but didn't chill my thoughts much. Still, I woke up feeling way more refreshed and well rested than usual, so I'm going to give it a while. After all, it took about a week of taking my prenatal before they helped with my recall, and then the benefit was amazing. Also, either the Banana or the milk or the 5 HTP or all three made my dreams so life like, even my reality check failed in that second one. Not that crazy stuff didn't happen, but once that reality check failed I lost any sliver of lucidity I might have had because everything was so real. I'm going to change my WILD alarm to 4, and go to bed earlier to hopefully avoid all the hustle and bustle of the morning distracting me. I'm also going to go ahead and load my MP3 player with some slow songs and make a dedicated slow song play list to let it cycle through while I'm trying to drift off, and add that as the last part of my routine.

I'm going to read the chat logs for the one I missed this morning, and then check out some others dreams journals and work books ^_^ Apparently I didn't miss a chat, yay!

Anyway, WOW that's some great recall Mydera! As you can see, 5-htp can increase dream frequency and vividness, but they aren't always lucid. Or happy for that matter. Sorry the reality checks failed. Same thing happens to me when I have really vivid dreams and realistic FAs. You just need a repertoire of RCs to try instead of just one or 2.

I know what you mean about the hustle and bustle of the day. Happens to me from about 5:30-7:30am on and off. But then I go back to sleep at 7:30on my days off, and that's when some of my best, and most consistent LDs happen. So setting your WILD alarm for 4am and going to bed earlier should work better. But my question is, if you have the insomnia again, would you be able to sleep in at all? I mean, when the bus finally comes at 6:15 and if it's a day off, can you go back to sleep for a couple more hours?

My kids are both preschool aged, so if I go to bed early, chances are they will wake up earlier too, and I don't think I'd get to sleep in after the hustle and bustle is over. Actually I just gave up at 6:30, the neighborhood doesn't get quiet until around 8am, lol. I could always try WILDing after 8 instead, I just worry that if I get too much sleep I won't be sleepy enough to fall back asleep in a WILD or the birds chirping will be too distracting. But we don't usually wake up until 10 or later, so it could work. Maybe I'll try that in the morning instead and see how it works, before I go trying to change everyone's bed time, ha ha. As for days off, I don't work so every day is a "day off"

And I totally forgot to mention that I missed several great chances to RC this afternoon because I actually saw my mom... who I usually only see in dreams. I realized after we parted ways what a great chance to practice I'd missed! I have RC'd a few times today though. When it started storming and when I was checking the weather radar since they both appeared in dreams last night. I'm also going to read a book that just came in the mail this evening, so that'll be another good chance to RC since I dreamed of reading last night... and this time I'll do a nose plug RC along with those rereading lines of text RCs ;)

I had a short dream where I was the main character in the book, The Selection, and K was the prince.

That was it for that day because we all got a stomach bug and didn't get any more sleep until that afternoon. By then, it was such deep sleep I didn't dream! I didn't reality check either :(

5-3-12

Dream One: I dream of being at an anime convention, having a friend who could "change the storyline", and being chased by a crazy super skinny chic who smelled like Vanilla.

Dream Two: My husband was driving our car on a train track with broken pieces. I was trying to repair the track as we drove so we wouldn't fall!

Dream Three: Third person dream about dragons in a MLP: Friendship is magic style setting.

Dream Four: I discover a program on Google that allows me to follow anyone I want with a little car, but it's following my step dad. I don't want him to think I'm spying on him for my mom or anything, and end up embarrassing myself.

Dream Five: I'm trying to help a lady find her dog, and instead find my step dad. I try to take him home because he's lost, but he takes the wheel and drives us right into the middle of a race.

Dream Six: I'm with a girl who wants to become an interior designer. We try to make an old ugly house pretty, but end up blowing up the floor. The house turns out to be her mom's house.

Dream Seven: I'm hanging out with a guy friend, playing video games. We go to bed, when I wake up in the morning (in the dream, so a FA) I'm looking for him, and he's still sleeping in his bed. I talk to my family in the kitchen, and they say he's snuck out and hanging with some bad influences. I want to go hang out with them too :)

I remembered to RC a lot that evening because I was still half sick and feeling very disconnected the whole evening.

5-4-12

Dream One: I get an Ancient Egyptian spell book in the mail, and discover a mummy in my attic.

Dream Two: (Fragment) I bought pajamas for my kids.

Dream Three: Teaching my mom to play Kinect, in the river, and the game is a Legend of Zelda Game.

Dream Four: Serena from sailor moon gets a gift from Darien, then runs away from home and has all her money stolen.

Dream Five. Serena's parents split, she plans to run away, She has to grocery shop with her sister, her sister's a bitch, she gets her gift from Darien, and then he says he's ready to run away together :)

Dream Six: Two guys think it's funny to hop into my car at best buy. I don't know then, and yell at them to get out. One does, but the other just laughs. I beat him with a stroller, until he gets out of my car. Then I wait in line for a Skylanders toy. I see a book I think is a new MLP:FiM book about Derpy and a muffin, but it turns out to be about a bunny :(

I've only been up an hour or so, but I RC'd when I realized free comic book day is the day after Star Wars day! May the 4th be with you! :D I also RC'd when I got on dream views because I'll dream about this site and I can never be too sure when I'm really here and when I'm not, lol.

Also, I tried to wild around 1 am this morning since I wasn't very sleep having slept most of the last 48 hours. Four times, laying on my back I'd start to fall asleep than all of a sudden my whole body would SHAKE jolting me awake. I gave up after the fourth time and thought maybe I needed to lay on my side, but when I laid on my side I ended up falling asleep and not maintaining awareness :whyohwhy: I've actually had the sleep paralysis cause vibrations before I knew all about it, so I expected that from Wilding, but I didn't expect to physically shake, lol. Hopefully tonight I can get past that!

You dreams make me giggle. I love when you beat the one guy with a stroller. Brilliant!

I hope you're feeling better after the bug. I'm sure that knocked your sleep out of whack, but with the way your recall is, I doubt it will take long.

About the shaking you mentioned. Is it shaking that felt somewhat like WILD vibrations? Or was it that shake you sometimes get when you start to fall asleep, and dream of falling or something and it jolts you awake? Just curious.

I'm not really sure. I know it wasn't vibrations, because I've accidentally gotten into sleep paralysis with vibrations while trying to force myself to sleep in the past when insomnia has struck. The vibrations I felt then were like a Buzz... I even heard a buzzing sound with them, like the whole bed was vibrating and buzzing, then I'd see an image and feel like I was flying towards it. What I had last night was just more like when you get a cold chill and shiver. My whole body shook, but just once, and the images I was seeing behind my eyes went away completely. :? I'm going to try again tonight of course, I was probably getting too surprised by the shaking and waking up from that, lol.

Still not feeling great, so I skipped the routine and vitamins and everything again to avoid getting sick in the middle of the night. As a result, I didn't sleep long, and my recall is starting to get fuzzy because of not having my vitamin in four days, lol. Nothing was lucid, but there were a lot of opportunities that I missed. I need to kick it up a notch and reality check a lot more again! I didn't wake up before the noise of the day started so I didn't get a chance to try WILD either.

Dream One: I was trying to protect people in a house after some disaster killed most of the population. We're attacked by vampires, and it gets bloody.

Dream Two: I twart and evil angels plan to take over, and combine him with a good angel to make a not so evil not so good angel.

Dream Three: I go to an anime convention with my bff, only to realize that I forgot to pack clothes to wear!

Your previous posts sounds a lot like HH/HI. If you were able to keep with it, it's highly likely that you'd be able to transition into a WILD :D

Started back my routine last night. Getting up after I get the kids to sleep and having milk, a banana, taking my vitamin and 5 htp, writing my goal for the night, and then listening to my MP3 players. I ended up waking up around 3 am though unable to go to sleep until 6 because of the lingering stomach ache (I'm blaming the milk and/or vitamin on this one, lol) and my wild attempt. I tried to wild around 5:30 am, but then the peacock started hollering. I live in the country, and my neighbors have all kinds of animals, horses, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and a couple peacocks. The peacocks are by far the loudest and most annoying one. I can tune out the other animals, not the peacocks.

and I just gave up, put the pillow on my head and went back to sleep around 6. I had three dreams, all of which were abnormal situations and should have gotten me lucid, but didn't because I'm not in the habit of reality checking again after skipping a few days when I was sick.

Dream One: I'm in a mansion with my kids. The owner of the mansion knows Johnny Depp, and he is over for a visit. I do my best to exercise self control and not go all stalker fan girl on him.

Dream Two: I'm on a space ship! I have a parasite alien removed, then the ship gets a crack in it.

Dream Three: I hang out with someone I had a crush on when I was in preschool, then attend a faerie wedding procession and save the wedding by getting a new crown for the faerie princess... turns out she's marrying my old crush.

I've reality checked a couple times today, but not as much as I should!

Dream One: I hear some kids rapping while I'm on my way to pick up a little girl from the baby sitters.

Dream Two: I'm at the mall. I get pissed off at the clerk in victorias secret, then I find some awesome towels for my kids at some store I'd never heard of before, but they wouldn't ring up.

Dream Three: I work for a grocery store, and I take food to a food bank.

Dream Four: I'm in a boat on a creepy river.

Then I had a nap later, and had two dreams:

Dream One: I was trying to put a second house on this lot.

Dream Two: I was hanging out with my friend and her boy friend

I tried to WILD around 4:30, and ended up falling asleep but not aware. I woke up a couple times after that, but it was too noisy for me to fall back asleep while trying to stay conscious. I'm going to go read some more WILD tutorials and see if there's anything I've missed or am doing wrong. I keep either not being able to fall asleep, or falling asleep without staying lucid.

Oh, and I did a few reality checks through out the day, none particularly noteable though. I've probably done 5 or 6, no where near enough, but it's still just afternoon so I got time :)

Good job on the dream recall! Did you recall it in any more detail and decided not to write it down, or? As for your WILD - try and be more aware. You may find some tutorials that mention an anchor - something to keep aware of while trying to transition. Personally, i like to be aware on my breathing. This is both constant and it's relaxing, so it does the job quite nicely.

Thanks! Yes, the dreams are much longer and in much more detail in my dream journal on this site, but since they're giant walls of text, I just shorten them to one sentence or so for this work book, lol. I'm really struggling with the whole awareness thing to be honest. I either am TOO aware and can't sleep or I'm not aware enough and fall asleep completely, lol. I have yet to find that perfect balance of being aware but not too aware. But I know it takes time, and I think I'm slowly getting a better feel for the boundaries. One of my dreams last night I tried to wild, but fell asleep instead and had a FA thinking I'd gone to sleep and didn't dream at all and was waking up way too late.

Last night's dreams:

Dream One: My mom has a party, and one of my cousins starts stripping, lol.

Dream Two: Tried to wild, couldn't sleep on my back, so I rolled over and fell asleep. This time though I "woke up" remembering I was trying to wild, and freaking out because not only did I not dream, I slept way too late and the neighbors kid was already here to be baby sat!

Dream Three: I'm a vampire, but I only drink blood from people who want to die. I rescue some girls from other vampires.

Dream Four: I'm playing COD Black Ops II, then I become the character, and instead of a soldier I become a spy trying to find out about smuggled weapons.

FA's tend to lead to DEILDs for me, so I'd say your getting on the right track for sure. As for the stomach aches, maybe take the vitamin earlier. Or the milk earlier and the vitamin later. I'd hate for you to suffer through this experimentation process. And like fOrceez said, really great recall.

And so sorry about the noisy animals. Haha, I played the peacock video you posted and it woke up my dog. She looked sooooo confused!

Dream One: I was at my mother in laws, then I followed some kid playing basketball to the top of a hill where someone was waiting for me,

Dream Two: I wanted to make a special dinner for my husband, but kept running into issues.

Dream Three: I was watching Brave in a movie theater, then I became Merida, some old lady chasing me to cut my "magic hair".

I didn't sleep much last night, so I didn't try to DIELD or WILD. I have reality checked a few times today, most notably when I couldn't get dream views to load and when I had to retype this because I forgot to hit post quick reply before going to a different page. -_-

Dream One: Some girls wanted to disappear, I was also in a classroom with Aliens and they were calling me strange name and kept saying I was an Alien

Dream Two: My mom tried to get a group of people on Facebook to help us with our renovations, but I have to explain to her and then that our progress isn't slow because we need help, it's because we don't have much money so they need to just forget about it.

Dream Three: I'm in a parking lot and realize I remember this dream and what's going to happen (but I've never had a dream like this before, so I dunno why I thought I did) I then spend the rest of the dream telling myself what's going to happen, then having that happen. I didn't even try to break from the prescript-ed storyline in my head, but I did realize I was dreaming and was really mad when the ending I had expected didn't come to pass.

Dream Four: I got a free trial of some new video game system in the mail. The box had other weird stuff in it though, one of which was a plant I was trying to figure out where to put.

Dream Fragment: A peacock was lose, and I was trying to follow it's cries to find it in this grassy field that was grown up to my waist.

I didn't sleep much from 5:00 am until about 9:30 because my daughter was having Nightmares. She kept crying out in her sleep every 30 minutes or so. My husband got up early for work (and probably went to sleep on the couch now that I think about it), so I brought her into my bed and only had to put my arm around her then say, "Shhh it's just a dream baby!" and she'd go right back to sleep for another 30 minutes or so, lol. This gave me a lot of little fragments I didn't bother taking notes for, and I was trying to DEILD during each of these wake ups (but maybe it was a WILD since I had to shh her and put my arm over her, I don't think your supposed to move for a DEILD right?) and I was telling Ophelia during the class chat I had a close call where I saw an orange phone in front of me, and I was opening it up and looking at the screen. Then it beeped! I knew it was HI and I was falling asleep so when it beeped I didn't expect it and startled awake. I know HI can have noises too, I have no idea why it surprised me so much, but it did, lol. I didn't DJ it thought because I thought it was just HI.

Yeah it helps if you don't move in between dreams during DEILD. It just helps keep the transitions more smooth.

Hope your daughter gets a better night sleep this time, poor thing.

AWww, nightmares are such a bad thing to have during childhood :/ Hopefully she gets some better sleep tonight - and you too!

5-11-12 - Another night of insomnia, so only two really short dream fragments... but considering I only slept 4 hours, it's totally expected. I copy pasted these straight out of my journal. They were short enough not to need shortening.

Dream One (Fragment): My mom owned a shop of some sort and I was helping her stock. A guy was there, I want to say it was K. There was also a girl there, I think maybe my bff?

Dream Two (Fragment): There was something about colors, and I needed something of a certain color for a festival. Then I was in the basement, and we'd already started working on it so the wooden frames for the walls were up. I must have been under the living room where the floor is lower because someone was showing me how low the ceiling was and how no one was going to be able to stand up straight in that room, we'd all have to bend over. It being the laundry/utility room, I didn't find that a problem as it would be used once or twice a week at most.

I reality checked that day the several times in the hours I was awake while the kids slept since that's unusual for me to be without one or the other or both on my heels. I also checked out those videos on the 5 layers of lucid dreams, reality checking during them because I've had those dreams where I'm talking about or reading about dreaming in dreams. There were also some more reality checks during the day as well.

5-12-12 - Slept a bit more than the night before, but still woke up before sun up unable to go back to sleep. These dreams were longer though, and had hints of lucidity to them, yay! These were my normal longer dreams, so I'm shortening them for the work book as usual.

Dream One: I was on a hill looking at a building. I thought it might be a dream, and jumped to see if I could fly. I did fly, so I flew in a big circle. I didn't get really excited like I normally do during a lucid, and I only passively cared, so it might be a layer 2 minor?

Dream Two: I'm waking up from a nap outside, and 2 members of YFM are painting american flags on my house. They later become the neighbors kid painting a firestation, and I tell him he's vandalizing and could go to jail

Dream Three: A lady is teaching me and a guy about magic battles. The guy looks really familiar but I can't place him. The lady in the dream refers to him as "Kay" and I reference a few books during the dream thinking he might be a character from them (of course, in the dream I don't realize they're only book characters and not real.) I finally realize at the end that I'm dreaming, and who the guy is, it's K! (Apparently calling him K in my dream journals is causing me to think of him as K in my dreams now :roll: ) I tell him his name isn't really K, it's Kurasawa. He replies that he knows that and isn't sure why his name is different in this dream. Then the dream crashes. I'm not sure what to call this, maybe level 1 since the dream crashed literally a minute or two after I realized I was dreaming. I also didn't even bother RCing in this dream, I think seeing Kurasawa was reality check enough since he'd not a real person.

My brain is seriously toying with me, lol. But it's nice to have something close to being lucid to counter act the trouble I'm having sleeping. If I'm only going to sleep a little, at least it's productive sleep/progress :)

Now, for reality checks today, I had a bunch more than usual since we did a lot of out of the norm stuff. Family came to visit from out of state, we went out to eat, I went to a mother daughter banquet with my mom, and I was in the car all by myself while my husband took the kids into a store to buy me my secret mothers day gift. Each even got at least 5 reality checks, the longer events like the family visiting and the banquet got more like 10 because they took a few hours.

That's awesome! It totally counts as lucid, the dream just crashed before you were able to start controlling things. That my have been either a layer 1 major, or layer 2 minor.. I have to review the videos but I'm leaning toward the latter. Either way, congrats on earning your extra credit again this week Mydera!

Did lots of reality checks today since there was a lot of out of the ordinary stuff with it being mothers day and all. Reality checks at the inlaws, reality checks at my moms, even a reality check when I saw a frog climb a window :? Reality checks when I thought I'd already posted this and apparently hadn't too, lol.

I'm going to dust off my workbook real quick and report on my progress since I stopped posting in the class. I've had three lucids, all in the last two weeks. Before those though, I hadn't had any since that short one on the 12th. I'm still having control issues, but I think I'm getting a bit better, or at least figuring out how to work around things ;) I'm also getting past the excitement thing we had talked about before where I would get really excited and wake up every time I got too close to Kurasawa. Last night I actually was lucid, and when I woke up from being too close to him, I kept my eyes closed and remembered what it was like to get to that point of the dream, successfully re-entering the dream, and then kept my distance from him to prevent waking up again... at least until I started losing lucidity. Without Ophelia's advice to distance myself from the situation, I would probably never have gotten that far!

My goals this time around are:
*To increase my number of lucid dreams, I'd really like to get at least one a week but two or three would be great too ;)
*Improve my control so that I can summon things and DCs myself without having to ask DCs to bring them to me

And now for my reality checks of the day, I've been reality checking when I am in the car, when I'm practicing w/ glow sticks, and any other time I can remember. I've still only reality checked about ten times today though.

Dream 1: I dreamed of trying to pick a water park to go to.

Dreams 2 and 3: A lucid that I was shooting dinosaurs, then decided that wasn't what I wanted to do and went to find Kurasawa instead. When I found him I woke up and went back into the dream, then lost lucidity and watched the water rippling on a river.

Dreams 4,5,6: Fragments in which I'm buying pony figurines at yard sales.

Dream 7: I fight a demon with a dagger and a kitchen knife.

Dream 8: Talking to some guy with long brown hair about how he punished someone or something. The we talk about a year book.

Dream 9: Talking to a friend who is playing Call Of Duty online with my husband.

Now that the dream journal system is working, here's my dreams from the night before last and last :)

1: Dressed up in a pony costumes

2: I'm on an island with mermaids. There's a sick guy there who needs to be rescued, all the mermaids are in love with him.

3: I'm hanging out with ton cruise and he's telling me he does his own remodeling of his apartment.

4: I find my pokemon cards from when I was a kid.

6/3/12

1: Playing some sort of role playing game similar to warcraft but with real people and figurines instead of just figurines.

2: I spent the night at the church I went to as a kid.

3: A man who looks like a Kitsune builds a ritzy apartment complex, then blows it up for the fun of it.

4: People tell me I'm fat at an anime convention even though I'm not.

5: A picnic at a park

6: I find a bunch of food on the road and it has bugs in it.

Reality checks for yesterday were every time I got on Dream Views or talked about dreams, when I practiced glow sticking, and when I rode in the car :)
Reality checks for today so far have been when I got on Dream views and periodically while I've been on here replying to messages and writing in my dream journal. The day is still young though :)

So what are you plans now that the kids are out of school? Is it going to change your sleep schedule? What about your induction technique, and your approach to attain lucidity in general?

I'm just curious about your take on it because I'm currently in the same boat. :P

Well, My kids aren't actually in school yet :p But we're going to have to start making sure we get them used to a school like sleep pattern (because the whole family is up until midnight, and then me and the kids sleep until about 10 in the morning, lol) I'm finding that with insomnia every couple of weeks, WILD is just not going to work for me because I struggle so much to go back to sleep. I have managed to DEILD a few times though, so I'm looking forwards to trying to DEILD more. I think the new sleep schedule will help with it because I'll be going to be going to bed much earlier, and will be woken by my husbands alarm just an hour before I'll have to get the kids up. If I can train myself to not open my eyes when the phone starts vibrating that should make an excellent DEILD opportunity. I'm going to pour into the reality checks too, especially when I'm doing something likely to bleed into my dreams since most of my lucids so far have been dream induced. Also, even if I fail to wake up during my husbands alarm, as long as I'm dreaming there's always the chance for a DILD.

Sorry I haven't kept up with my work book, I'm going through one of the insomnia periods again, so I'm not dreaming much. I am looking for dream signs and trying to reality check extra during times of the day I'm involved with such things. Now to play catch up ;)

1: Glowsticking, then pulled away by my husband. When I get the sudden urge to go back outside, I find Kurasawa is outside glowsticking in my place. He's way better than me, and he smiles at me and asks, "Miss me?" then I wake up

2: I'm on the street again, this time I realize I can just leave my husband where he's at and do what I won't because it won't have any repercussions. I walk to a house, and think that I can open the door and the inside of the house will look however I imagine it. I don't realize I'm dreaming though, and a guy walks out and completely distracts me from controlling anything else.

3: Swinging on a swing set in a strange yard, then a couple guys tell me to go inside the house. My mom has sculpted a Christmas tree out of jello inside.

4: In a class room, where I'm supposed to be learning Japanese but instead end up stealing a puzzel and making a dude cry about it. I also decide my teacher is a horrible person to learn Japanese from.

5: Watching a youtube video of my bff's sister washing her hair o.O

Reality checks for that day, it was pokemon night at the local card shop, so I did a lot of extra reality checks then but also some when on dream views and in the street since it had been a strong dream sign in the previous night.

6-6-12

Two fragments of playing Pokemon cards. but Insomnia was bad, so I didn't sleep but a few short hours.

Reality checks were when I was on dream views and while watching my DVRd E3 stuff, also when I was playing a video game that I've dreamed about often.

6/7/12

1: I'm on a boat moving things and thinking it was my job

2: I'm in a wagon being chased by several somethings, then I jump off and get back on to find my companion has run off to fight the things chasing us without me. The cart driver won't stop so I can go back though. My bff and i try to enlist in some sort of army, and are assigned the job of spying on faerie. A woman who I think was a teacher (but don't recognize in waking life) tells me about following what I believe and not fighting for causes that I don't believe in just to be with my friends.

3: I'm in a hotel with a woman who is magic, there's a car wreck and she heals the lady in the car. A man walks me to a whole different dream area where it's day not night and the surroundings are totally different. I realize he's Kurasawa, but this doesn't make me lucid. He tells me about his job and some old lady that taught him dreaming or something, then takes me back to the hotel where it's night again and everything is back the way it was before we left. He disappears and I go to find breakfast.

For reality checks so far today I've reality checked every time I've gotten on dream views or talked about a dream to my friends. We're about to leave the house, so I'll be reality checking a lot where we go because most of my dreams take place outside of home.

1: Fragment of the pokemon Dragonair

2: I'm sneaking around, but then see Altair from Assassins Creed and decide my reason for sneaking around is pretty lame and I'm going to create a distraction instead so he can slip away safely.

3: I'm at the beach with my grandma, and she's driving. She's a terrible driver, and a storm comes up. Madness ensues, but lucky no one was hurt... by her driving at least.

4: A green snake is shedding it's skin on my front porch.

5: I'm at a birthday party for a DC everyone's calling mike. He's getting a book that someone he doesn't like wrote as a gag gift.

As always, reality checks when i logged into Dream views, and a couple when I was in the street chatting with the neighborhoods kids. The lazy ones were mowing the grass, and that was a total cause for wondering if it was a dream as it's never happened in the 3 years I've lived here. Also reality checked a few times before going to sleep because we actually got my son in bed before midnight... at 9 o'clock even.

The process of switching to a 9pm-7am sleep schedule is going well save for having a hard time falling asleep so early. Also, I decided it's easier to do my workbook the next day so I can list all my reality checks without wanting to go back and add some in later. As for where I am in the class, I'm thinking I'm going to skip forwards (rewind back?) to the week where we're practicing a method of induction, and I'm going with DEIL as my induction method. Have yet to have any success, but I'm going to stay in this week until I do if that's ok ^_^

Sounds good! Since this class is basically self-paced now, you can focus on the lesson that is most helpful for level. Let me know how the DEILDing goes. My sleep schedule has changed, so now I tend to DILD instead of DEILD. Oh well, better than nothing.

1: Flying with Kurasawa, fragment

2: I go to get my car fixed with my BFF and leave my kids home alone, then realize what a bad idea it was and rush home

3: I'm going to some sort of biker rally and getting shit from a dude because I brought a packed lunch instead of buying concessions

4: My BFF's husband calls me a monster and refuses to let me in their hotel room, then when I get in he refuses to let me sit or nap on the furniture

5: I try to rescue baby bunnies, and nearly get trampled by horses and arrested in the process


Reality checks inclued Dream views as always, a couple times when we went outside, and while playing Hakuouki :)

Ok I get the kid abandonment dream sometimes too, complete with the panicky "Oh my GOD what have I done?!"

And I also get the dreams about rescuing baby animals, especially wounded ones. I get super panicky about saving the mortally wounded ones too. Not trying to spam your workbook or anything, Mydera, but I'm just curious as to your interpretation to these types of dreams. For educational purposes of course.

Spam away :) I enjoy the conversation, lol. I think the reason I dreamed of leaving the kids alone was because my little boy is growing up. He's starting kindergarten this fall, and he's going through this HUGE independent and "I'm a big kid" phase. He's constantly trying to take on the role of the parent with his sister. I find him constantly trying to tell her no, and what she can and can't do... We're having to remind him, "Your not the parent! Let Mommy and Daddy deal with her when she misbehaves." He's also told me a few times, "I'm a big kid now mommy, so I can watch Clover and you can go to the grocery store by yourself." and we have to explain that he can not watch her, he's not even close to being old enough to be home alone yet! He sees the other kids in the neighborhood who are in their preteens and teens coming home alone after school, and thinks that school age means old enough to be home alone. I'm pretty confident that this dream is a reflection of this phase he's going through, and my emotions on the whole thing. In the dream, I left him home alone like a big kid, then realized after I left, he's not as big a kid as he wants to think he is and it was a terrible idea. Since we've had a lot of these moments lately where he's trying to be the parent, (it extends to things like wanting to cook lunch his sisters lunch in the microwave and wanting to pour her drinks and take her to the potty... He's really trying to step into that grown up role, though I keep trying to tell him he's not that big and he needs to let me handle it :/ ) that it's just bleeding over into my dreams in worst case scenarios.

As for the baby animals dreams, someone suggested that a lot of my dreams sound like sacrifice dreams. Like, the themes of them are me sacrificing myself for others, and I guess that's kid of where this baby animal dream is coming from. I'm trying to rescue these baby rabbits from being trampled by horses with little thought to my own safety. Then a cop comes along and pulls me out of the pasture, but instead of helping me rescue the baby bunnies he threatens to arrest me for trespassing and tells me to give up on the bunnies because he's already cited the owners with animal neglect for having insufficient cages and there's nothing else that can be done. Looking at this dream from the "sacrifice" stand point, I wonder if it's not referring to how in my every day life I take my kids on play dates and to special events, I let my husband go do things like Zip Lining and riding with a cop friend in his car, and to hang out with his friends... but when it comes to alone time for me there's very little. I haven't gone out and done something with friends sans kids and/or husband in months. Even on the days my husband will take the kids to my mother in laws house for a couple hours, I'm usually doing things for my grandmother or my mother that I can't do with the kids at my feet (like gardening, computer work, etc)

LOL, and that's a wall of text, sorry! But Those are my interpretations of my dreams. With wounded animals, I'd wonder if you feel like something important to you is broken and needs fixing or healing. I know when some kids rear ended my first car and nearly totaled it, and my cat got a mouse in the same week, I just couldn't kill the mouse because it was so much like my car that was broken, I kind of felt like the mouse was a symbol of my car, and if I could just nurse it to health my car would be ok too. Of course the mouse died, and my car was fixed eventually, and I'm pretty happy when the cat catches a mouse now, lol. But that was the best example I can think of to what I'm trying to say about something broken.

Yeah I agree with the nursing back to health thing. I get attached to people, animals, things really easily, and when something bad happens I will try to wear myself out trying to repair it. I'll have to see what's going on in my life the next time I have a dream with helpless or wounded animals.

Anyway, glad you had lengthy dreams last night even though your daughter had nightmares. And lol at the cheese grating spoon. Which reminds me I need to get on the ball for father's day as well.

Hope tonight you get enough sleep for a lucid. I certainly seem to have the best luck with them when I can sleep in, and they happen right at the end of a long night's sleep.

As for reality checks that day, I did several when I was at church and my moms house because I'm only there one or twice a month. Also RCing in the car, as I tend to remember to RC when I see a lot of scenery for some reason. Last night's dreams were really fuzzy and I ended up forgetting to write them down, so all I have are random notes that I don't understand now, lol. I know in one I dreamed that I put honey in my hair and got it all sticky and clumped on top of my head. In another I was shopping at the mall again, this time for my bff's sisters birthday. Todays reality checks include being in the car, going shopping, and pokemon cards ;) Tomorrows Pokemon card night, so there's a good chance I won't be writing anything for the next couple days as it usually invokes my insomnia.

Oh we don't want insomnia, that's for sure.

last night was the first night I actually made myself NOT write notes when I woke up and tried to remember to keep my eyes closed and go back to sleep. I wouldn't say I had success, but my third dream was "close" or by the "5 Layers" system it was a Layer 0 Major. I didn't realize I was dreaming, but I felt like I was in another world where I had special abilities and a bit of control over the things around me. I didn't bother to use it though except to let myself walk on the wall when the floor became water. It was an odd dream for sure. I reality checked often the last several days, even though I'm not writing in my work book like I should :sorry: Most important ones being whenever I talk about dreaming, when I'm in the car, and out of the ordinary things (like someone's been carving bears out of stumps randomly along the roads in my county.... I have to question reality every time I see them, it's just not something I expect to see, lol) I figure my recall is going to suck with trying to DEILD, but at the same time I'm hoping that I can master this and get lucid more often.

Have you ever tried to pick key words for your DEILDs, and then link them together for recall? I find it helps immensely, and you don't have to write anything, or move, or even open your eyes to do it. It just takes a few seconds in between dreams and you will be amazed at how much more you remember when you wake up in the morning for good.

Also, where do you live that carves bears out of tree stumps? I've seen this in the Rockies alot. Just curious. :)

Last night I had a few alien dreams, thanks to the book I read before bed, lol. The other two weird and emotional. It was definitely one of those nights fueled by emotions more than reasons. And my reality checks for today were the bear statues again, going out without my kids, and as always dreamviews and anytime anyone would even mention dreams. :) As for the bears, I have no clue who's doing them or why. I live in the foothills of north carolina, so not really IN the mountains where you'd expect this sort of thing... more like about an hour out of the mountains. It's not something we're used to seeing here,it's totally random, lol. I was surprised the first time I saw one, and really had to question if I really saw what I thought I saw, then I saw three more, so now It's more like a scavenger hunt for the kids when we go out ;) I think it's someone from the power company or the DOT because they're in areas where trees are close to power lines and roads, and there are usually several trees cut down and only one bear. I don't know if it's some sort of marker, or just someone's practicing their art, or even if they're doing it for kids too see, but it's pretty cute and a good reminder to RC. Now if only I could get them in my dreams, I'd be lucid in no time, ha ha.

AS for key words, I already do the keyword thing and type it in my phone, but since I'm not taking notes, I can *try* to remember those keywords instead. My memory is surprisingly bad, ha ha. I remember better by trying to "relive" the dream before I fall asleep, but trying to DEILD means I'm doing this anyways, and unfortunately falling asleep before it sinks in :( I'll give the key words a shot instead, I might surprise myself and remember better than I think!

I'm still having trouble keeping my eyes closed when I wake up and remembering to DEILD. But I had an interesting experience last night that I'm wondering if it was HI or just a dream? I am pretty sure I was asleep, I felt like I had been asleep, but I woke up and my body wasn't shaking hard, but it wasn't soft vibrations, more like something in the middle, and I saw six different scenes in front of me (I couldn't concentrate on any one so I can't tell you what the scenes were of, just that I was baffled that I saw them all at the same time) it was like someone had taken three tv and stacked up on top of each other, then pushed them up against a stack of three other tvs. Only, I felt like I was somehow in all six places at once, I wondered, "Am I dreaming?" then everything faded to black. Then it happened a second time and I rolled over because it was so disorienting the only thing I could think of was I need to roll over and make this stop! I rolled over, and at the same moment my daughter rolled in her bed and rolled right out of bed. I jolted, then jumped up really quick and ran to her, so I wasn't in sleep paralysis. I'm not sure if I had woken up, and then felt those things because I was drifting back to sleep and about to successfully DEILD, or if those things just happened in a dream and I was dreaming I was DEILDing or what, lol. Anyways, I thought it might be progress, and I'd report in :)

Also for RCs, I'm doing a LOT more now because I was able to find a ring that was given to me in a dream, and buy it :) The ring has been in a few dreams, so it's like a dream sign, and now that I've finally found one like it and it arrived Yesterday, I'm reality checking every time I see it or feel it. I'm also finding it's really heightening my awareness because I can't help but wonder when I see or feel it, "Am I dreaming? Because this thing was originally only in my dreams..." That didn't give me any DILDs last night, but I'm sure it will soon if I keep up this awareness, lol.

Hey mydera, I've had an experience like your before with the TVs. Only in mine it wasn't 6 TVs, it was like a mini movie screen and it was shoved straight up in my face. It even had an old fashioned sound to it like an old projector, and was in b&w and depicted some old turn of the century scene. Anyway the point is, it was preceded by vibrations, and kept coming and going. I finally did slip into a DEILD chain after that as a result. So I think you may have done so yourself except your falling daughter woke you up completely. Anyway, that's just my 2 cents on that.

As for the ring story, that is so cool! Does the one you bought really look just like the one from your dreams? Can I see it?! I think that is badass that you know own something you only ever saw before in a dream. There's only one thing that I want to have in real life that I dreamed about. It was a treehouse that I dreamed of when I was like 5 or 6. It had a yellow flag on top, and you could get to it from a zip line. And it had teal carpet. Anyway, I thought about building one some day. Talk about a huge RC haha!

I had a DILD last night :) First lucid since this class started back up. YAY! In the DILD, I just randomly realized I was dreaming, but through the whole dream I knew I could do abnormal things and that my thoughts effected my environment, but not that it was a dream. Then towards the end of the dream I wanted to take a picture of a flower, and realized that was a stupid idea because I'm dreaming and it won't transfer to real life. As soon as that happened, I realized, "That's right! I'm in a lucid dream!" and I started to run off and look for Kurasawa as usual :roll: Then I stopped myself and reminded myself I wanted to work on control and stop running off looking for him everytime I got lucid. The mini goal I've set for myself and been trying to do for the last week or so is grow cat ears and a tail and be a cat girl :) I've been reminding myself before bed, and trying to imagine what it would feel like, so that when I am lucid it'd be at the front of my mind and I'd have an easier time doing it. Well, I tried imagining it as I was lucid, and it worked... I'm pretty sure. I never reached up to touch my ears or tail, but I could feel the air swishing around them when I moved them. Then I turned a DC who looked like Johnny Depp but then changed himself to look different, back into a Johnny Depp look alike. It was a short lucid though, maybe 3 or 4 minutes at the most before my phone started ringing and woke me up. I swear I had that thing on Silent, but I guess it was just on Vibrate -_-

Still RCing more than ever and actually getting pretty close to all day awareness as I'm remembering that I could be in a dream most of the day thanks to seeing this ring. Yay for progress ^_^ DEILDing isn't going so well though, I keep forgetting to keep my eyes close and not to move. Still, a lucid is a lucid regardless of the method and I'm pretty happy right now ;)

LOL, You posted while I was typing! That sounds like an awesome tree house! You couldn't miss that for sure. I bet your son would love it too. The ring I got does look just like the one in the dream, but my camera phone can't figure out how to focus on all the sparkly stuff and blurs it out when I tried to take a picture. Thanks so much for the input on that weird thing yesterday. So you think it probably was a DEILD about to happen? I've managed to get back into a dream after waking up before, but never got the vibrations... the difference being I had already been lucid BEFORE waking up and therefor was able to just "relive" the moments of the dream before I woke up instead of getting random mind created stuff. But still, double YAY! I'm probably making some progress with DEILDing too! I'd much rather get good at DEILDs because they're not random like DILDs, lol. Any advice on how to make the disorientation more bearable? like I started feeling disoriented and wanted to roll over or something to make it stop. How do you stop yourself from moving at that point? or did you just eventually get used to it an it doesn't bother you anymore?

I totally dreamed of watching those videos from the chat last night, lol. I wonder if I learned it better in my dreams, or if I got it all jumbled up now with dream logic inserted. I also had a pretty cool dream where I was fighting zombies with a blade tipped staff. That was a ton of fun to dream, not so exciting written down though... decapitating zombies doesn't seem repetitive when your dreaming it, it does when your writing/reading it, ha ha.

I am still reality checking like crazy, so I'm sure to be lucid soon! The last couple nights though I've been forgetting again to keep my eyes closed and try to fall back asleep lucidly. The next couple days we're having the roof replaced, so I definitely won't be able to sleep in -_- Thinking about setting an alarm to wake me up for deilds around 5 and 6 am instead of relying on my body to naturally wake up from a dream. I usually wake up several times at night, so I haven't really bothered with the alarms yet... but maybe that alarm would be the different ingredient that makes my DEILDs successful.

I'm not sure what you mean by disorientation? I know the rollover feeling you're talking about though. And honestly, the mornings where the need to rollover is too unbearable, I don't usually DEILD. The times I DEILD, I'm usually tired enough, even after sleeping in, that I don't feel the need to rollover, or open my eyes. In fact, I'm so comfortable and relaxed that it actually takes tremendous effort to move or do anything.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. No new progress and fighting insomnia again -_- Still reality checking very often though :) at least a couple times an hour now, it's crazy how often I'm asking myself. I can't wait for that to kick over into dreams, lol.

I'm sorry about the insomnia Mydera, I know it can be torture. But I'm glad you're still doing RCs. For some reason, replying to yo about insomnia just now gave me an idea. I wonder how beneficial it would be to RC during bouts of insomnia during the night? I mean, who knows if I'm actually tossing and turning and trying to get back to sleep, or if I'm in a midnight FA? I dunno, food for thought.

I will make it a point to RC more when I've got insomnia for sure. I was able to sleep last night and I ended up with a dream that I think was actually several dreams chained... like I think I was trying to DEILD and managed to get back into the dreams but not be lucid. I'm only assuming there because rather than being a continues dream like I usually do, it was a lot of dream shifts, in one place one moment and another place the next. The last dream segment though I was "semi" lucid... like I knew something was different in the dream and it wasn't "normal" life, but the idea of it being a dream didn't strike me :/ There were a couple points where I thought things were off, but I didn't RC :facepalm:

Gaaa! I hate those kinds of dreams where you know something's wrong but shrug it off, then you wake up and go, "damn!" hahaha I guess I should do more RCs too, been forgetting them a lot nowadays :( Also, I get a lot of those confusing dream shifting stuff, that sometimes when I wake up I'm so confused I don't bother to recall them anymore.
