Nesgirl... To be blunt, that's a pretty selfish way of putting it.
If I am able to do the challenge one day, it'll be because I want to put an end to this argument, and show the world what it doesn't yet know. Not for the money, although money would be nice
I'm not one for this bull of not being able to do it around believers, and negative energy, etc. And I'm also willing to demonstrate it to the world if I get the chance.

cd, that is what the scientific method is for. I didn't see the experiments performed by Mendel, which was the founding experiment in the field of genetics. However, I have studied his experiments and am convinced of their validity.

One does not have to see face to face in order to believe. In fact, if someone walked up to me on the street and performed some Psi on me, I would be extremely skeptical and suspect I was being tricked.

Perhaps I am too critical or too blinded by my profession, I don't know. All I am really asking for is a verifiable and repeatable series of experiments.

Remember, people thought Lucid Dreaming was a bunch of hoodoo, relegated to the ranks of the occult until Dr. LaBerge performed his research.

there are many things out thre which are true, and others which are false. it is often difficult to draw the line. i assure you, if i had the people with the knowledge, and the money, i could test my theory right now.

On James Randi's forum they had a thread asking if any 'woo's (kookiness) had produced an advantage of any sort.
Lucid dreaming is the first that comes to mind. If nothing else, it makes people think about what reality and awareness actually IS!

Hey! At least I am letting people study it somewhere, not for Science, but just so they get to know us better. I don't want to be locked up in a mental hospital for doing something like that....besides, Michelle has all the money she needs.
I am not good at doing those kind of these things right in front of people, b/c I have stage fright....for example, while I was waiting for a swimming pool to open, I just started playing card concentration, when a kid asked, "Hey! What are you playing?" I told him, "Card Concentration.." Then a crowd gathered, & that made me nervous enough to goof (this isn't the 1st time.....I goof up at anything when people are watching me....especially audiences...)
And who says I am only doing this for myself....that would be kind of rude....in actuality, I do it for my family & boss at work (he's wants to take me to a lottery when I am old enough, actually!). I use it quite frequently on multiple choice tests, & I do it all I want at the meetings w/Michelle.

Alright, it just came across as 'I don't need the money'. Time will tell if anybody manages to show the world. Things are getting more and more heated all the time about this, IMO.

Well, also, I have been hurt from 7th grade, a scar that will 4ever be remembered, & I would prefer that wouldn't happen again!

How could it? All it is is winning lotteries, helping out my boss, flying around exploring, or trying to communicate in a way that gets Michelle & I in less trouble!!
Besides, when I told my teacher that this person had games on the brain when he said he was going to do his assignment, the teacher understood, & the students got mad at me!!

I'll even go so far as to propose methods of shielding the equipment from any possible "negative energy" and physically remove and shield myself. I don't have to be some place to observe something. A farraday cage would go a long way towards answering that.

Just to go on-record: I don't "believe" anything. I don't "disbelieve" anything either. I'm an observer. And I've spent my life attempting to emulate the best of the applied scientists. Observe. Document. Bring it back and THEN tear it apart to find out WHY. Don't go into something believing it is crap. Emotion has no place in the observation. For me, Emotion gets to come out and play at the wildass party you throw afterwards.

My big problem with the majority of the pure-theoretical scientists I've known is that they are just as inclined to "believe" something as those they espouse against. "Belief" is a VERY big part of "disBelief"...

Prepare yourself for either a barrage of excuses or no replies at all.

I've had this offer open for more years than I care to remember. Back a good number of years ago I ran into some phenomena I had difficulty explaining. I'd love to go back and retest with the equipment and knowledge I now have access to. . .

Unfortunately, the Internet allows a level of anonymity that calls veracity into question rather often. Reminds me of the CB radio days in many ways. . . You can pretty much say anything with 100% anonymity and zero risk of real-world reprocussion. . .

But someday someone is going to take me up on it and there won't be any excuses when I show up with almost 4000 lbs of gear, and I'm going to be there to document that time.

Then when I trust my observations, I'll go to bat, and I'll swing for the fences. I'm waaaay tooo obnoxious to be ignored. I've done well enough historically that I could be black-listed for the rest of my life and it would have no effect other than to amuse me.

So I'm really not afraid of either side of the discussion.

If you'd care to read back a bit, you'll read that kimpossible offered to test anybody personally who has a psychic claim, since he has the resources and admirable mindset to do it.
I said that I'd be happy to do so, once I feel I'm ready. And that won't be until sometime next year or later - at best.
