The worst thing that can happen to a good cause is, not to be skillfully attacked, but to be ineptly defended. - Frédéric Bastiat
I try to deny myself any illusions or delusions, and I think that this perhaps entitles me to try and deny the same to others, at least as long as they refuse to keep their fantasies to themselves. - Christopher Hitchens

If telekinesis even had a slight chance of existing, it would have been discovered and harnessed by corporations already. The military would use it for new types of weaponry, it would be used in factories to increase productivity and would pretty much be part of our daily lives. Not to mention the fact that some people would have discovered it on their own and proven their powers in a public place. Don't believe everything you read. |

Well if we are still saying that telekinesis and Chi are the same, then it has. Chi masters are master level martial artists who use Chi energy as opposed to brute strength in there fighting. In my opinion this counts as using it in the military. BUT this fighting is useless against guns so is now outdated. People still practice it as an art to this day. The corporate choose not to involve themselves in things that not everybody believes exist. The same way lucid dreaming isn't corporately mainstream, because not everybody thinks it is normal. |

This monk supposedly harnesses Chi to create a force around his gut and head protecting him from this drill bit. Still not proof but cool. Shaolin Monk harnesses Qi to drill his head? - YouTube |

Indeed, this is a very strange video. The idea of the existence of Chi is a very strange one to me but even if I actually had the power and was able to use it in this way, I would not test it with a drill to my throat >.< |

Well, it's possible to learn to use it in a violent way and to kill, but it's a way shorter if they train the soldiers how to use their weapons, thus some close combat techniques, and if they would still like to train them, it takes really really really really really really really really long years to achieve it, (if they ever can master it) and if they'll somehow still have the will to do harm to anyone after dozens of meditations. |

Chi doesn't necessarily involve touching the object either. I once read a book on chi written by a chinese tai chi master and it is said that one of the first master of chi deflected arrows without touching them. |
