Coincidences - Someones looking out for me

NOTE: THIS IS A LONG POST , THIS IS NOT MENT TO BE A LIFE STORY , I WOULD APPRECIATE OPINIONS I will Be referring to my ex - Girlfriend here as "my girlfriend" due to the fact that she was at the time. Also Admin... If this is'nt in the right forum area feel free to move it please Ok, So ill start this off from 2005, I had just entered a new Relationship, and it would prove to be my first serious one, Anyway, we were going long distance for the first year and I used to send letters to her. One day I was getting dropped off by mum and I was going to send a letter to this girl, and my Mother stopped the car and said she had to send something as well, I looked at the letter and was shocked to see it was going to the same address. (Just to put in here, I met this girl among hundreds of others when both of our schools travelled to the same town for a night of singing for the local townspeople), I was slightly perplexed as im sure you can imagine, and it turns out that she was writing to my girlfriends mother, So the question was why?, well as it turns out my mum a few months earlier had decided to stop at a Library. a very old very small libabry and while there she thought she recognised a woman there, she asked "are you Mrs ******? and turns out she was, she was the mother of my girlfriends mother, and it turns out that my mum and my girlfriends mum used to be best friends back in high school, and my mum recognized this woman after about 30 years, impressive. So mum had been writing letters to my girlfriends mum and they used to be best friends, Crazy. So as fate would have it I would later break up with her in 2008, when that happened I had no where to go, both my phones were going flat and I had pack my stuff and left so I needed somewhere to stay, but had no where to go, I had a Van which had been turned into a camper, But I could'nt park at a motor park due to not having a visible electrical certificate, But I gave one call on my phone to my old scout leader who I had not seen for 6 years, And he travels all over the country, he answered the phone, and it turned out that for just this one night and one night only he was at his new house in christchurch, (where I was) he had arrived there that day from working elsewhere and was leaving early the next day, he was hardly ever home and i mean HARDLY EVER HOME, be shear chance (or something more) he was there that one night I broke up with my old girlfriend.... Moving on a Year to 2009 I had moved to a new town and had a run of bad luck with woman, those of you who know me a bit better here will know that I do not drink, and I dont care what mates do, but i needed a woman who did'nt and everytime I found a girl who said she did'nt they turn around a few weeks after and said they lied, So anyway, I have a will of steel but this one time I had really had enough, I thought "everyone drinks, I might as well do so, im tired of being alone this much" I had made up my mind that the next day after work I would get some wine and go to Drink it, so the next day came and I decided for some reason I decided to go to one of my favourite restaurants for breakfast (normally I went for lunch), So I ordered my meal and I knew the workers there quite well, She knew I was looking for friends and she gave me a note that had been given to her with a cellphone number on it for a woman looking for friends as she was new to town. Turns out she worked around the corner, So I went over there and met her Mother who quickly got on the phone and had This girl who's number I had brought down to the shop.... We meet and This woman is now my wife.needless to say I did not end up going to get wine that night, I had been saved. Why of all times, The one (And only ever time) I decide to go against my core values and drink, IS THE SAME DAY that I meet the woman who would become my wife?? Little to strange for me. Now Back in 1996 I joined Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate, after being Inspired by the Power Rangers who were (and still are) my childhood heroes, I trained there until 2002 and then had to give up because I moved , Well I had to Sensei's (Teachers) who taught me and In 2008 when I was a little older I had moved back down to Christchurch with the Girlfriend I have written about in the first part of this post I had got to train for only a few months before my GF and I broke up but I got to train with my two original teachers which was a huge buzz for me, After me and my GF broke up I moved away I moved to the town I met my wife in, and Just before (or may have been just after) I met my wife I called the house of my Sensei to say hello his wife answered the phone and I asked to speak with him and she said "Im sorry he passed away about four months ago" I did'nt know what to say, I had just been sparing (fighting) with him in the dojo a few months before and had not heard he had passed away, I was in shock, So moving forward to November 2010 I had to take my wife down To christchurch as we were moving down there for what would be my third time, I was to travel for five hours drop her off and then Drive five hours back and I would go to live with her a few months later While down there I stopped in at a supermarket just to grab a quick snack and drink, and as I was walking down the Isle It seemed like the all the people parted like the red sea and walking down the centre RIGHT TOWARDS ME, was my other original sensei (the one still alive obviously), I could'nt believe it I stopped at this supermarket for less than 5 minutes on a 12 hour travel day and my Sensei just happened to be there the exact time I was, I just don't believe things like this happen this much without cause. I talked briefly but had to go due to a massive amount of travel I had still to do. So as I said a few months later as I said I moved down to be with my wife, And we stayed with Family for the first month, Christchurch was already on edge from constant earthquakes and we finally found a house to rent and My wife and I moved out, seven days later an earthquake happened in christchurch that cost the lives of about 188 people, The CBD was all but destroyed and the house we were in a week before was in the CBD and it got destroyed by the quake. So I finally found a job which was lucky, as jobs were hard to find in the city due to the shakes. I got employed and signed all the paperwork and went to work , one day I had a strange feeling about my manager that I was'nt sure on, Seems she had a similar feeling because she tracked me down on facebook, and heaven fell when I saw the name, Turns out she was the Daughter of my Karate teacher who had passed away. Whhhhatttt? I mean there are thousands of thousands of shops in Christchurch and I happen BY CHANCE to land at the one that has my Sensei's Daughter working there? uh uh, that S*&T does'nt just happen. After more damaging earthquakes the decision was made to move Islands due to the quakes and our work been in danger due to the quakes, So we moved Islands In july of 2011. And after having a difficult last few years that I had to get myself out of My rut, So i decided to join the gym,,, After going a few times I was happy and needed to sort out my diet, I had no idea of nutrition and my gym teachers would'nt really give me clear advice unless i paid for a personal trainer, which I could'nt afford as my wife and I had just opened a business and if any of you who have actually read this far who have businesses will know how expensive they are to set up.. So i was a bit down after class thinking of what is good nutrition wise, My gym class teacher had said to eat protein to everyone after we finished so I decided to go to subway to get a Tuna sub that was healthy and I would get protein, I got my sub and headed out the door, and a random man stopped and approached me, He gave me a pamplet and I read it and my JAW DROPPED, he was part of a business who were opening up a nutrition club just down the road from my shop, I mean seriously,, what the heck are the chances Seriously. I had been looking at getting back into Karate for a while, but to my knowledge then I didnt think they had my style here, and one day after gym class I had a look at the notice board and heaven behold a note clear as day it read "OKINAWAN GOJU-RYU KARATE" by now i was going along with this coincidence stuff so I grabbed the website (which seemed to of appeared overnight because I had searched and searched google previously with no luck" I filled ou the online application and about 2 hours later the Sensei called me, we had a chat and after a while he said,"Did you know ***** *******" and he was refereing to someone I used to train with In christchurch 10 years earlier, Turns out that this guy I used to train with 10 years ago was a student of this sensei who had just called me,,,, I know, to crazy right? I had made arrangements to attend my first class that friday, but after a sore gym body and a hard day at work I decided to call my old sensei and re arrange to go the following Monday. So i called Sensei and said to him "Im sorry im busy (which I was) and I would be there on Monday" and he replied "Oh it's funny you know, the other day just after we talked **** ******* rang and he is coming to train tonight" WHAT!!!? seriously, This man who I had'nt trained with in 10 years was going to come up from Christchurch for one night only to train with his old sensei who was my new sensei, unreal!! and he called day of all days, on the day I decided to return to karate, as I said earlier i go along with this whole coincidence thing, due to the amount of them, I clear my timetable and I get my A*S to the Dojo and had a great night with my new sensei and the man I used to train with. That was 2 weeks ago. Now As I said earlier I am a huge Power Ranger fan and still am, My whole life has been helped in many aspects from that show and was the reason as I said I got into karate in the first place, well today I was unsure If I would go as I was epically tired and sore, But decided to go after watching some quality Power Rangers. Now a little back story , the Power Rangers were banned In New Zealand back in about 1994 and I had survived via some old tapes I had been given for my eighth birthday and a few DVD's, It is for the most part a forgotten show here in NZ, although this year It was finally un banned for the first time in about 16 years. So I go to class and after I finished I was Walking to get my shoes and i heard a tone that made my heart stop, It was the sound that the communicators of the power rangers made, And I don't mean the new Episodes, I mean the 1993 series type tone, there was some kid there or the lady im not sure where exactly the tone came from but It was Unmistakable and I mean What Are the Chances of that, This show was 18 years old and this person happened to have the as the tone and above all I had really got back into power rangers the last week due to the 10 year anniversary of the passing of Thuy Trang who was the original yellow ranger. I mean the show here is so Obscure that IT IS NEVER TALKED ABOUT, Ive never heard anything really in regards to the show for 18 years and tonight of all nights I hear this tone, This is what prompted me to write this post, Because seems like, someone , somewhere somehow Is looking out for me, there are just two many coincidences to simply dis regard them, there have been more, but these are the main ones. So to summarize. * I meet my First Girlfriend amongst 100's of strangers in a town where both of our schools go met to sing *My Mum meets my GF's mum's mum in a random Library * I write to My GF and My mum writes to my GF's mum at the same adress, while we were both unaware * My gf's mother and My mother used to be best friends in school and had attended each others weddings many many years ago * had my old scout teacher who was in Christchurch for only the night I needed somewhere to stay after I broke up with my GF. * Met my wife due to Anonymous letter, which saved me from drinking when I had really thought id given up on my values. * Found out one of my old Karate Sensei's had passed away * ran into the Other Karate teacher during an impromptu supermarket trip during a 12 hour Travel day * Ended up working with Daughter of My old Karate teacher who had passed away * joined gym, and needed nutritional guidance , got subway, ran into stranger opening up nutrition club *Found notice for my karate style on gym notice board, website seemd to pop up overnight *New sensei knew one of the poeple I used to train with previously 10 years Prior *same day I call to arrange karate, The person i used to train with calls from Christchurch * I try to change karate start to monday, find out that the person I just talked about with Sensei the day before who I used to train with was coming up for JUST ONE NIGHT. * Been getting back into power rangers to celebrate the life of Thuy Trang and happen to hear a tone on someones phone the represents the show, even though the show was banned her about 16 - 18 years ago. I think I've written enough now, all this thinking has left me going completly crazy, and If you actually read this far then Thank you and Im sorry if it does not make sense. But It just seems to me that too many things are happening to keep me on the right path, I am fully convinced that there is someone , or something looking out for me.
