Thread: What are your telepathic experiences?

I've had a bunch of low-level telepathy experiences. I see them as unconfirmed shared waking dreams.

In one of them it was pre-caused by a certain thought direction. I was thinking to myself that life is just a dream and then in my mind's eye i saw a window in a small stone almost empty room. And i was absolutely sure that was me lying on a rug watching the ceiling in my real life and i was convinced that there is where my real soul is currently and i was going to wake myself up from this dream and logically speaking that means i will die here. So , since i wanted to get comfortable first i went to bed to go do that.

Then i heared my father go to bed. Only he was screaming and swearing and very pissed off. I thought he was pissed off at me because i was about to leave this realm and he knew. He was angry because i didn't tell him anything about it and i'd leave him behind to suffer. He got into bed loudly and he shut up with a sigh. This whole time i was very aware of my heart pounding and i could see it in mental image clearly. My heart started to pound so hard and fast that it hurt so much and i wanted it to stop.

After this i don't really recall this event clearly so it might not be chronologically correct. But at some point i could sense a lot of people around me. In my mind, right in my reach. I could hear faint whispers even. And i reached out to my parents and talked to them. They where very relieved when we started talking. And we had an actual live conversation. Not just mind chatter. I had a vague image of my mom sitting straight up and my dad lying in his bed. And because of this, when we talked and i get responses back i could see facial expressions and other non-verbal communication along with words. And their voice was the same as normally . I told them you can dream about anything you want. And it will be as real as anything else in the world. In this grid we are communicating through right now we can share dreams. We talked about things we wanted to dream about in almost pure mental images. I vaguely recall seeing dream-scenes of my parents past/future dreams.
Then i remembered. I am going to leave this realm and so i'll die tonight. They have to know. I figured this news was to extreme to tell it like this so i thought i'd come tell it in person. So i went into their room to explain them what's gonna happen. I walk into the door and here comes the twist. When i told them what happened they both looked at me like i was nuts. I wasn't taken by suprise. I had a feeling this could happen so i decided to come out with it and tell them i took mushrooms earlier. But you have to understand. I took only 1g of weak fresh truffles. That's NOTHING. In all my trips i had to take 10 times more and i would have mild effects. This is different because i took the tiniest amount ever. That means that all this has to have happened naturally. I told them. The rest of the box is upstairs and if something happens tonight you have to eat those. Then you will understand everything.
And i said. Mom, dad. If something weird happens tonight you have to understand. This is only a dream. Everything is a dream. And my dad said. So i can fly? You telling me i can fly. I thought he understood when he said that , that you can fly in dreams. And that those dreams are more real than on this plane. So i said Yes, you can fly dad. You CAN fly. But he did not understand.

Eventually i went back to bed and i could feel my heart again. I knew i was gonna leave. Logically that has to mean i will die here. So i thought this feeling was me dying. I got aware of this telepathic grid again. I knew i could reach out to anyone here. So i reached for a girl i just met and i had to say goodbye to her too. But i'm too tired and i already posted it on dreamviews before . It was very beautiful tho. It also involved mental imagery , hugging. And with physical contact i would feel my extremely sensetive beating heart merge with her heart . And all the pain turned into blissfull love.

Ho-ly-buckets. That's intense. Who do you have to verify that you sent/received anything. You know, words, pictures. You said you talked to your parents and that one girl. Did you check with them that they had the same experience, and, if so, did they?

Precognitive dreams on life events that take places months to years down the road in the exact manner was portrayed in such dream. Does that count?

Ehh... precog' and prophesy aren't exactly telepathy. Mind-ish stuff, yeah, but I'm trying to see if there are people here on DV who have had experience/experiences with communicating with others via their mind alone.

Okay as the saying goes some people who do have telepathy sometimes doubt that they are and start telling themselves "this isn't telepathy it's just my mind messing with me, i need to snap out of it".
Well i am going through the same thing now, i am going to try and avoid anything that is trying to send a message to me, even my guy i know that lives far from me. You can say i am trying for a vacation now lol. I will post back when i start getting messages/images. I doubt it will last a week.

My sister and I used to play a telepathy game when we were in middle school. We started by one of us picking a number from one to ten, and the other would guess it. As we got good at this, we started trying to rely more complex messages. I remember once thinking of something like a chicken wearing a top hat, high-fiving a pig, and she was able to receive the whole image. We would accomplish this by both sitting with our eyes closed, then each of us would open a door where our third eye was and one would send a message and the other would receive.

I also do tarot and palm readings, though I am quite out of practice now. I think both of these are based more on telepathy and empathy than what I am actually seeing in the cards or on someone's hand. The first time I remember having a telepathic experience with tarot was when I was in high school. I was doing a reading for a girl, who was asking a question about a boy she was interested in. As I was placing the cards, I received a blurry vision in my head or a tall, blue eyed boy. I described what I was seeing to the girl, and it turns out, was accurately and in great detail describing the boy she was asking about. (This guy went to another school, so it is not someone I would have ever seen). She later showed me a picture of him and it was exactly what I had saw in my vision.

Sometimes I can finish the sentences of people, or predict what they're going to say next.


This mostly makes me a smart-ass, though, and there's absolutely nothing paranormal about it.

There's a difference in predicting what someone is going to do next, and predicting this without conscious thought or awareness.
I am mostly the one doing this without awareness and it does not make me a smart ass.
For example i say "Want some coffee?" and the other person says " I was just thinking of that."

And instead of chalking that up to a reasonable yet subconscious mechanism, such as you and that other person being similar people around each other at a similar [time of day/type of activity] when coffee is usually the choice of beverage,

you instead call it 'telepathy'?

No i am clueless at times and don't know what the other wants. Doesn't matter if you now the person or not. Like if i am at a party at some point i want coffee and the host makes it after i thought of it.

So, you're clueless... And your host is observant (perhaps subconsciously or coincidentally) to clues you just don't know how to pick up on.

But with the explanation I gave in my other post (it applies to this one, too), you don't have to know or guess what the other wants. The situation itself breeds coincidence by circumstance, and there's nothing paranormal about that. (sidenote: Why would you take a mystical explanation over a practical one? The only reason I can think of, is you don't understand the practical one... Or perhaps you want to feel 'special' in some way.)

I don't think it's paranormal, that word goes for ghosts. It's Parapsychology. And if you are skeptic then i understand because i sense some vibes that isn't good from you about this topic.. Plus i can't explain this to you when someone isn't a telepath and thinks finishing sentences is telepathy, and it's not. It is more than that and i experience images, emotions and thoughts from others, but mostly from someone far from me.
The poster did say no skeptics here. Now don't say you are not one because skeptics do say "there's nothing paranormal about it" when it actually isn't and doesn't know what they are talking about and think telepaths are considered "special" in a very odd way.

I had one very intense experience. Without going into the story, which I've posted on DV sometime in the distant past... I was about 14 years old and murderously angry at my pedophile uncle. I looked at him and thought "Go get a gun and kill yourself."
He immediately went downstairs and got a gun. I followed him and took it from him though.
I shut down to such beliefs/practices after that.

It's actually great to ignore such ignorance.

Kaomea as a Child???? (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I put this dream first so Kaomea can hopefully see it, and the similarities between the child and her is waaaay too accurate, at least for my limited knowledge on how she looked like before.

Before I go on to remembering the dream, the reason why I'm assuming a girl that looks like Kaomea as a child, even though I don't know how she really looked as a child in waking life, is because of the red tank top she was wearing along with blue shorts.

I know Kaomea has worn a red shirt and some blue jeans, along with some red sneakers in her dreams, and probably does the same in waking life.



I'm probably in spectator mode, just seeing how things play out at an area with a lot of greenery to it. If you looked beyond the area they're at, you could see there's a large and open field, and the clouds are light gray or light blue, couldn't tell exactly.

The atmosphere seemed like this was in the late 1980s to the early 1990s (well obviously, since this could've been Kaomea as a child). It was a vivid dream, and it had that "old-school" film feeling to it. (Don't worry, Kaomea, I'm not saying you're old or anything, it's just the type of ATMOSPHERE that felt kind of weird.)


There's an adult or two supervising a group of children. The two children that popped up to me the most were a girl and a boy.

The boy was Caucasian most likely, and by the way he's smiling, I'm assuming everybody is taking some kind of group photo together.

He's really ready to get his picture taken, and I think they had to move around a bit, so I guess they were testing to find out the ideal order of who goes behind who and such for the photo.

Now for the girl. She had fairly long hair, and the children here are probably around the age of 4-7? She looked like she was from Hawaii like Kaomea is in right now.

Her skin tone was a little bit darker than the skin tone I normally see Kaomea in, but only slightly. She's wearing a red tank top with some fluffy extensions near her shoulder, well, it's not that fluffy, but it was fancy looking enough for me to pay attention to her.

I think she was wearing blue shorts, and probably red sneakers as well, presuming whoever dressed her would want her shoes to match with her tank top.

After one of the adults and the children move around for a little while to find the ideal positions to stand, sit, or crouch on, I get a zoomed perspective on the child that looks like Kaomea.

She has this sort of mad pout to her face, as if she doesn't want to be part of the photo....LOL, it was so hilarious! xD

Anyway, it was kind of cute seeing her like that. (in fact, I was just putting my hands over my face and shaking my head and going "awwwwww" )

Then I hear a random voice that said how she would like a certain someone someday? I didn't know what that meant, but I'm assuming who she likes now....but it could be someone else entirely different.

I can't remember much after that, I was just focusing on the girl who could've been Kaomea as a child.

I don't know if this counts at all, but the voice in my head though. I'm sure I'm not schizo though.

I barely know anything about Kaomea's past life, etc., and even though the content revealed to me was small, it is still surprising to me that I could find something she never talked about.

I had another dream about finding more on another person that they don't usually reveal in public, but I rather not post it here. It's somewhere inside my dream journal.

Well i tried to go without any receiving and sending messages/images to someone, it's 3 days already without any and now i am taking a toll on it. My telepathy is actually 3x worse now that i was avoiding it. Now i can't sleep :\. Btw i have a natural telepathy with someone.

Well i am about to write down every experiences i got, here. This morning i had a very long connection with my usual guy i know, this occurred for about almost 3 hours i keep getting messages from him and i send them as well, but every time i send messages it kept coming back stronger, energies were strong and his presence was strong.
It was like wave after wave of thoughts, emotions and images. Feelings got stronger from his side, some how i was enjoying this intake this is why it took almost 3hrs for the communication to fade off. I asked questions he answered, but the emotions were i received was real, i'm sure empathy is also part of telepathy. Because i can do both.
I didn't have to meditate at all, because this comes naturally and i have to find a place for me to be quiet and alone for these things to go through.
No interruptions. This happens only when i am getting something trying to go through me and get my attention, and it won't go away until i get it's full attention to the message. This long session wasn't actually continuous it actually had some pauses in between so that my receiver would get my message fully and understand. I told him that i enjoyed the communication and another time would be best, and we both agreed.

Aww, this sounds like a friend of mine. She's actually had to practice mental restraint because it makes it too easy to cheat on tests... which is really appealing to her, as she is a slow learner.

No it's not me, i don't do tests lol. I do peoples minds. I actually know who i am communicating with because basically i only got one person that easily communes with me telepathically. It's all about clear signals and openingly receiving.

I was terrified and appalled. I thought I had almost committed murder, though it was ultimately his choice (or I never would have gotten the gun back?)

For at least a couple of years before that point, I was practicing what I called "Brain Communication" lol. I didn't even really know the word telepathy. I used it on the people closest to me. I just tried to implant thoughts or reactions/emotions like "CALM DOWN" whenever my parents were fighting or telling them to give in to something I requested Looking back, I mostly disregard those events. I tell myself I only saw what I wanted to. I tell myself I had "magical thinking" because my home was borderline abusive and chaotic and it was my way of trying to gain some means of control.
But I can't disregard the event with my uncle. There were witnesses to that one.

In any case, it shook my so profoundly that I stopped. I didn't want an ability that could hurt people!

Other minor events revolved around my first "true love". The ability was his and not mine however.
He gave me a pentacle in the 9th grade. I loved that necklace and wore it always. I even squeezed it when I gave birth to my first child.
For years, even after we had long since broken up and had no contact... when I was in my worst places emotionally, he would always show up. Without fail.

When I was about 20, my beliefs started taking me elsewhere and I broke off the points of the necklace and threw it in the trash. Our connection was immediately broken.

I never really saw the connection before. I never could "read thoughts". But I've always thought of myself as a bit of an Empath. Perhaps these weren't "telepathic" events at all but an ability to project my emotions onto others?

Today i kept waking up and my thoughts go straight to him, i woke up how many times? Like 6? or more He probably was having sleeping problems this is why we couldn't share dream tonight meh we tried.

Who knows? Everybody is different, and being able to connect minds can happen in loads of different ways. My friend does so in a very word-like way, while I have more a tendency to hear people's emotions as music. (No surprise there.)
