I have come up with a variation of WBTB that has so far always worked for me. I've only tried it 3 times so far (and the first time was sort of accedental) but I would really like some other people to test it out and see how it works. Ok, here goes:

First, wake up 4-6 hours after you've gone to bed. (You can set an alarm or just train yourself to wake up, it doesn't matter.) Once you are awake, sit up in bed for about a minute.

Next, lay back down and use the progressive relaxation technique. (If anyone doesn't know what that is, I'll put a link to it here.) Close your eyes and try to remain concious for 30-90 minutes, as if you were going to do a WILD. This is good for people who lay in SP for a long time without entering a dream. Try not to get so far into SP where you can't move though, just enough to where your body is numb. While you are laying there, try to focus on lucid dreaming. You can think about the dreamviews website, what you are going to do in a lucid dream, etc.

Finally, (once you have been laying there long enough) open your eyes and sit up for another minute. Then lay back down and go to sleep.

Note: I know this isn't like a professional tutorial or anything, this is actually the first time I have written it. I will try to clean it up a bit, though, to make it easier to read/understand.
