Hi guys,

I've been experimenting with recording dreams on the following wallchart.

untitledDreamChart.jpg

The chart is drawn on A2 sized paper.

The idea is to write in one of the horizontal rows each time you awaken.

E.g. First awakening at 5am = fill in the bottom row.

Second awakening at 6am = fill in the middle row.

Third awakening at 8am = fill in the top row.

The theory is that the subconscious gradually becomes trained, leading to more false awakenings and lucid dreams.

In practice, the method has a honeymoon period of 3 nights.

In this period, I got 5 false awakenings (where I was filling in the dream chart, or explaining it to a dream character).

About the same number of vivid dreams. One lucid dream.

After that, it basically stopped working. I remembered no dreams whatsoever. I guess the subconscious adapted to the
attack on its territory, and defied the Dream Chart methodology.

In conclusion, I would recommend this as a short-term strategy, especially when combined with a supplement
(galantamine, etc.) and a strong, clear dream goal.

Has anyone tried something similar?

Best,

AET.
