for me i had zero success and my sister who is a natural lucid dreamer said it inhibited her because instead of becoming lucid she just continued the "i'm dreaming this is all a dream" attitude from waking life into her dreams and also had zero success.

it seems thinking "i'm dreaming" all day but still doing everything else normally ("i'm dreaming" but still working, "i'm dreaming" but still studying, "i'm dreaming" but still shoveling snow, etc.) will just make you think "i'm dreaming" all night and do the same ("i'm dreaming" but still following along with mundane things in the dream world instead of becoming lucid and doing your own thing.)

not to mention the fact that saying AT ALL TIMES in your head "i'm dreaming, this is a dream, etc." is seriously invasive for one's thought process when trying to learn new tasks or get work done. especially if one is good at pretending one is dreaming and therefore is more lax about work/school/etc.

thoughts? comparisons to other methods?
