That isn't a silly idea, totems were the best part out of all inception in my opinion, as they could be really effective ways to RC. |

Ok so this one may sound strange if not silly but bare with me. So for those of you who may have seen the movie "Inception" this is where I got the idea from. Basic you want to take a top (or perhaps a coin that you can spin) keep this with you at all times. Every once and a while take it out spin it. The idea is that if you spin it and it topples over you are awake. If it does not topple over but continues to spin then you are dreaming. I my self have started using this technique with little result but Iv only tried it for the past 2 days. If anyone attempts this pleas post your results. I will notify when I get any results. |

Your mind can easily make it stop spinning, there is no way I see that it could actually works as a ''reality check''. |

Also, since I didn't want to make another thread, "Inception" talked about a "how did I get here?" rc. For this one simply ask your self "how did I get here" if u can't answer then you are dreaming (or really wasted) try following this rc with a nose rc. |

if u keep doing it every once in a while ur mind will get so use to seing it stop that it will do it in the dreamworld |
