Next time I suggest you do the WBTB at the end of your previous dream cycle, if you did it 6 hours into sleep this time, try 4½ next time. Or you can try shortening the WBTB, some people don't have to do WBTB's that are longer than a few minutes. If the thought process itself is what's keeping you awake then doing mantras for a while is enough. You can then just relax and perhaps imagine a nice scenario or visualize yourself becoming lucid, performing your set up task |
