What happened here?
I tried some new things last night. I listened to subliminal lucid 3.0 (again) until falling asleep.
New thing: I set an alarm to wake me up around 5 for the WBTB method. To say the least it didn't wake me up. I had it select a random song, which I'm guessing was Superfast Jellyfish by Gorillaz.
I'm only guessing this because during my dream (non lucid) that song was playing throughout the dream, and was completely stuck in my head the whole morning after I woke up.
But here's where I confuse myself, so bare with me.
In my dream, I was laying down in my bed when the song Superfast Jellyfish came on. It woke me up and I thought it was the alarm, so I turned it off, but it wouldn't turn off. I ended up laying there until my phone starting to ring extremely loud--to the point where I couldn't ignore it and got out of bed. The second I answered the phone, I REALLY woke up, and the phone was ringing, and I got up and ran to it.
Was that a false awakening of some sort? I mean it was pretty cool that my mind thought that it was actually reality, but confusing nonetheless.

Yes, false awakening. You can be totally sure that you are awake until you do the reality check or wake up. If you do a RC and it works, you will be amazed how easily your brain could trick you. This is probably the hardest part of the DILD.
