Okay so earlier today I was on a plane headed for Hong Kong. Air Canada decided to be amazing and bumped me up to business class. I was going to try to induce a lucid dream so this was perfect (I could make my seat turn into a bed in my own little pod). So anyways I go to sleep and I had no intentions of having a lucid dream, I forgot all about it, I just wanted to sleep.
So I start off with a good ordinary dream, something about being on a cruise ship with appetizers (I have no idea it's not the important part anyways). And then somehow I end up on a roof in New York. Atop a really high building. I'm on the roof with my brother and a bunch of friends when suddenly I realize "I'm dreaming." I think I said it to myself a couple of times. The sensation is incredible, it was a peaceful feeling. I forget about everyone else. I think that I can do anything, I lift off the roof and soar above the street, slowly and peacefully. It's an incredible feeling. I'm just kind of hovering there arms extended on either side, lifted off the roof of the building and hovering over the whole dark city (it's at night). And then I wake up.
So cool! I can't wait for the next one! Hopefully I won't have to be in a plane to have it (and I don't think business class will happen for me again in a long long time).
