Oh, cool you got your first LD! Advice though, try stabilizing after RCing so that it will become habit in dreams too. |

It was a DILD too! And it happened only about a week after I've began looking into all of this stuff! |

Hello there!Congratulations on your first lucid.I don't recommend that you use pinching as a reality check though, since you can feel pain in dreams just like in reality.A reality check that is just as simple would be trying to push your finger through the palm of your hand,if its a dream it may go through your hand. |

Nice! That's usually how most people's first LD is, where it only lasts a few seconds. Stabilizing is the next step. Dunno if you've heard this from something or someone yet, but when you're lucid dreaming, the less attention you pay to an object, the less detail it will have. Focusing on one particular object gives it more detail, but starts de-stabilizing everything else around you. Try and pay attention to everything you can. If things aren't going well, do the good ol' 'Rubbing your hands together' thing, or spinning. After a bit, you'll be able to stabilize your dreams for a longer period of time. |
