Nice! That's usually how most people's first LD is, where it only lasts a few seconds. Stabilizing is the next step. Dunno if you've heard this from something or someone yet, but when you're lucid dreaming, the less attention you pay to an object, the less detail it will have. Focusing on one particular object gives it more detail, but starts de-stabilizing everything else around you. Try and pay attention to everything you can. If things aren't going well, do the good ol' 'Rubbing your hands together' thing, or spinning. After a bit, you'll be able to stabilize your dreams for a longer period of time.
