Have you ever Loved in a dream?

To be more specific, to fall in love with someone you dreamt up.

This comes in response to a dream I had in which I became good friends with someone I made up, only to wake up and be sad upon the realization they no longer exist.

After it, I've been wondering if it was possible for someone to fall in love with someone they made up, dream or otherwise.

Yes, a few times.

I have fell in love with people in my dreams. They tend to always be someone from my high school graduation class for some odd reason.

Well I recall two specific examples of dreams involving women I fell in love with. They somewhat resembled people from the real world. The most memorable part wasn't just the fun I had dream dating them but the depression that followed days after for realizing none of it was real.
