      Oh jeez, was this lucid?

I tried to do a MILD last night, I thought to myself "I will wake up after every dream period." and eventually I DID wake up. But I wasn't sure if I had awoken out of a lucid or non-lucid dream.

I remember doing things I would probably do such as makeout with my girlfriend and fly.

But I also remember doing things I would never bother to do such as just have a "Talk" with a DC..

      Also it was pretty vague..

      Thanks in advance..

The fundamental question is simply were you aware you were dreaming while doing the actions listed? You don't need to have control for it to classify as lucid, simply the awareness. There isn't enough information in your post for me to say either way but it very well could have been.

I'm not exactly sure, it was pretty vague. Not really vivid.. I'm leaning towards non-lucid but I told everyone IRL that I had an LD last night but now I'm not so sure...

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

Oh, come on. If we didn't have repeat threads, this section would be dead.

You also don't need to be lucid to have control. Your call, r2.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

This doesn't necessarily mean you weren't lucid. In low-level lucids, the thought process isn't very clear. You may find yourself doing some pretty pointless things.

You can be aware but not really AWARE. That's why it's hard to sometimes accomplish goals and tasks in lucids, or to control a dream.
The burden of proof lies with the one making the claim
