anybody experienced this? a few nights ago i had a non lucid dream and in the dream i was having a conversation with someone about dreaming and lucidity yet never thought to check and see if i was dreaming. lol

thats actually how i had my first lucid, i saw my brother and i said "hey, you were right, the cheese did make the dream super vivid"
It happens. Usually means I am pretty close to a lucid.
But I like to reality check whenever I hear something about dreams on tv, music, billboards, or whatever.
Try it and see how often dreams are mentioned in everyday life. You'll be surprised.
