If you fall asleep easily, try WILD. If you have a hard time falling asleep, stick with MILD. You don't want to lose a lot of time from your precious naps. A minute here or there adds up when your polyphasic. |

I am about to start a SL-Uberman/Everyman. This involves 6-8 20 min naps throughout the day, which supposedly lead to 20 min of pure REM and vivid dreams (at least for some.) What techniques should I use to become lucid during these naps? I've only tried MILD/DEILD before, but it seems like WILD would work well, since people often fall asleep in only a few min when taking these naps. |

From what I hear, the intense sleep dep lets you fall asleep very quickly, so I don't think I would lose much nap time. (I could also lengthen the nap by a few more min to compensate for the time it takes to WILD.) I've decided to go with the SPAMAYL/SL-Uberman, which lets you take as many 20 min naps as you want, so losing sleep time is not an issue either way. I might try both and see what works. |

Well, I don't know much about Uberman, but I can tell you that I've dilded with short naps. (Unintentional. Short naps at that. I fell asleep on the toilet for about 5 minutes, and had a lengthy lucid dream. The time dilation when you dream is awesome...) |
