Thread: DV's Monthly Bloodbath

Somebody host a competition. Here is a rough idea...

Each time a member has a lucid, post it in a thread. A panel of reputable DV members will rate the dream out of ten. You add the points to a monthly tally. The OP will have a running scoreboard.

At the end of the month the person with the most points wins. How sweet would be a gold, silver, and bronze badge to last the following month until the scores are reset at the beginning of each month?

Nothing like a little friendly competition to spur lucidity.

Tons of work considering how many lucids are posted daily? You would need like 10 people to do the checking <.<

Er, yeah. Maybe. How many lucids are posted daily? Depends on how many participants we have.

I like this idea.
I think it has some potential.

But, I think what you should do is have a lucid tournament, and a non-lucid tournament. So that members who have a hard time becoming lucid can still join in the fun.

EDIT: Walms, well... I assumed it would be a thread which is meant for the dreams to be posted. So that if you want to take part, you can. It wouldn't be that bad.

Depends who join, but if EVERYONE joins, only from my journal reading experience, thats like 5-10 dreams posted daily, from which at least half of them are really long <.<
And I bet the ones I don't read have at least 10 more lol

Sounds like it could be interesting, but that is a hell of a lot of dreams to read through.
