Thread: A funny case of sleep paralysis.

I had a dream I was looking for my shoes, (which I had lost earlier in the dream) underneath the bleachers in my school auditorium. There were hundreds of pairs all lined up, but none of them were mine, (as far as I could see). I did find a pair that resembled mine, but they were laced with gold and were encrusted with diamonds and gems. They were awfully gaudy, but I had decided I was going to steal them and smuggle them out of the school. Instead of taking the obvious route and just carrying them, I figured I would attract less attention by wearing them

Well, I put them on, and the first thing I realized is they felt just like socks. I looked down and couldn't see my feet! I took them off my feet, and although my feet weren't visible now, I couldn't see my whole body. I became very weak, and realized I was dreaming. Instead of being able to move around like normal, I fell to the ground. I read something about how if you fall asleep in a lucid dream, its a good way to enter into a new scene. (one where I wasn't paralysed). So, I closed my eyelids, and then opened them a second later. I couldn't recognize the environment, but it felt strangely familiar. I couldn't see my body, and I was tied to something below me that I couldn't turn around to see. I kept trying to "summon" myself to fly out of whatever was pulling me down.

Then, I closed my eyes again and when I opened them I realized... I was looking at my room the whole time, but wasn't able to recognize it. How embarrasing, trying to fly out of my bed when I was awake

At least nobody was watching you. Or were they?
