      Maintenance?

Laberge said lucid dreaming is easy once you know how to do it.

I've been getting lazy recording my dreams but still having some lucids.

I am wondering, what is the least amount of effort you have to put fourth to yield results? Do you have to keep doing all the different exercises and RCs?

I assume the minimum requirement is that certain awareness. If you are lucid during the day you will be lucid during the night.

Also, after taking a break, how long does it take you to get back into it?

MILD + DJ is probably considered the least effort you can do and still get some results.

Picking up where you left off is super hard though.

If I don't do a little bit of dream journalling, my LD count drops to almost zero. It doesn't take much, just the act of writing dreams down is enough of an affirmation to look out for dreams.

I think it varies from person to person. I used to DJ every day, and my dream recall would be 3 or 4 per day. However, when I began to stop, it dropped to 1 or 2; they were very difficult to recall at times, too. My lucids remained somewhat the same, but still went down from 2 a night to 1.

I'd experiment to see what happens with you.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Thought minimun effort was not trying at all lol
anyway, uh, if I don't RC at least once/day, chances are i won't get any lucids for that day.
