My scary lucid experience

So I woke up naturally early this morning at around 5 AM. I go back to sleep. I find myself getting warm and feeling the vibrations, my heart is beating fast, so I know I am going in an OBE or lucid dream. I find myself in a dark room, some kind of a warehouse. There were a few people verbally fighting and yelling in horror. One man pulled a gun out. It was extremely intense. All though it doesn't seem like a big deal right now, it had me terrified. I kept falling asleep and going back into this sleep paralysis stage almost instantly. I kept forcing myself out of it to avoid going back in that dream.
I don't know what the hell my problem was. It's almost like in the dark morning I forgot that nothing in the dream could hurt me or I was afraid to get scared again. This isn't the first time something like this has happened either.

Sounds like you just had a nightmare, everyone has them. No one knows what causes them, but if you were lucid, you might be able to get out of it.

Maybe a mantra would help next time... tell yourself you are going to have an OBE and remember not to get scared because it's all in your head. Good job on the instant SP by the way. More than I can do lol.

That's the thing I was somewhat lucid. I believe I was aware that nothing could harm me, however I wasn't thinking clearly and I was afraid I would get scared. I have no idea what my problem was now.

I'm really looking to just do lucid dreaming. These instant SP's don't happen normally for me. It was just in this particular situation. The irony is that I didn't want them to because I was afraid of going back in this nightmare.
When I do want to go in SP it takes some time assuming that I can manage to stay conscious.
