Alright, it's been a while since I posted here. Namely, because I haven't had lucid dreams in all of the attempts I've tried.
However, today I had some slight success which has made my month.
The only problem is that I don't know what to classify it as...
Here's the story:
So, while I was asleep in a dream I was wandering around a mall. After a little bit of wandering... I eventually came to the conclusion that it was a dream (don't ask me how I did this, it was almost a "AHA! THIS IS A DREAM!" moment.
A few minutes after discovering it was a dream, it began to fade and I started waking up.
After the scenery was done fading to black, I felt that I was awake, but decided to sit entirely still and keep my eyes closed to see if I could go into another dream.
Well, the transition to another dream was immensely smooth. I came out of the darkness into the exact spot I was in the dream. I didn't do anything special, and I don't recall experiencing any hallucinations or anything from sleep paralysis or whatever that would come with a WILD. I just kind of "willed" myself back into the dream.
Here's basically the progress I encountered and wondered if anyone else has done this:
Sleep -> Snooze (woke up, then rolled over to go to sleep) -> Dream -> Lucid Dream -> Wake -> Lucid dream.
Now, this occurred in the morning after a good nights sleep, when I decided to go back to bed.
When I woke up the second time after becoming lucid, I did nothing but lay there and think of becoming lucid...
Does the final one classify as a WILD or DILD? I thought it took significantly longer to experience a WILD (as in sitting around waiting to sleep for about 20 or so minutes).
I have a few other questions as well: If this is classified as a DILD, would DILD's be easier to do after waking up in the morning and taking a snooze, or would it be easier to try this during first sleep.
