Thread: DC's can be straight up ANNOYING!

I hate how annoying DC's can be. Does anyone have a method of getting rid of them? I posted the question first in case people don't feel like reading my story of annoying DC's.


Okay in my most recent LD, which is the most lucid I have been yet, my DC's were so annoying!!

After a DEILD, I ended up in a dream scene with about 4 people I know, and I proceeded to pursue my dream goal, finding my girl I haven't seen since April and don't get to see until late February. I tried going off to find her and they kept following me and would not leave me alone!

The dream faded and the next scene I ended up in a sort of country area. I asked a few people if they could lead me to Brooke, and I finally found 2 guys that said they would. After following them for 5 minutes, I got the feeling they had no clue where she was.

The dream faded again and I ended up with the same 4 original people and one guy would not shut the fuck up, so I wanted a sword to slice him down, and a sword was behind me and once I cut him down, all these knights started appearing and I had some fun fighting them.

As I entered the next dream scene, There were hundreds of girls walking around, but none of them were Brooke. I realized I was at a cheerleading competition and walked into a little store and decided to try some of the icees, which were delicious. I was eating the icee with my hands, and my coach came up to me and said, "you enjoying yourself?" in a sarcastic tone before I woke up.

In a way I'm kind of glad that I didn't find her because it'll just be that much better when I do. I sure as hell enjoyed the adventure though.

DC's can be pretty darn annoying, alright. If you want to just wipe them all out, you could always go to a dimension where the Earth has faced nuclear apocalypse and no one is about. Or, if you just want to make them nicer, you could either visit the corresponding dimension, or else blast them with a nice-ifier ray, etc. Alternately, instead of making contact, find Brooke in a different way, possibly by simply expecting her to be there when you turn the corner. There are literally hundreds of ways to improve the situation, and the more experience you have, the more options will become available to you. Dream control *may* be tricky to master, and almost everyone gets hung up at some point, but just remember; in a dream, you are in complete and total control.
