you could wake yourself up, or you could just fight whatever it is. you'll always win. i've yet to loose a fight in my dreams. |

Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.
Yeah, In the mornings I can usually go back and forth. |
I have woken myself up from some stressful dream situations before..I just force my eyes open with my hands telling myself I must wake up from this bad dream..I either wake up or I have a false awakening thinking that I woke up..When I was a boy these stressful dreams were usually monstersas I got older the anxiety became dreams of world crisis. such as war or disaster or invasion..it must be too uncomfortable for me to face so I try to escape..sometimes I do hold a stand off and I do fight back.. |

welcome to the forums, blake! |

I can wake up. I usually am in a nightmare that I don't want to continue, so I am lucid by then. And so I wake. |

Welcome dani and blake! :yumdumdoodledum: |

I used to have really annoying, boring dreams, about a spinning orange statue (don't ask). |
I usually wake up if i want to change something in a dream - such as change something dramatically and very fast... The dream just collapses... |
I sometimes am unable to wake myself up..this usually happens when I am not supposed to leave the astral..and you dont always win a fight you know..then I gues you have yet to face things that cannot simply be beaten by conjured up weapons, matrix fighting powers, magicc or the like.. |

all the demons, eh? i have yet to experience one, not really looking forward to it though. |
Some (lesser/weaker)demons can be beaten with that sort of weaponry, they are basicly your basic nightmare being who can be whiped easily, like asif it was a dream character. |

Usually I am in control of my dream and there are no monsters and spooky things around. When I see a monster then I am at first shocked and just beafore I scream I realize that it is a dream and then I am GOD... |
But has anyone really took noticed of that Transistion period from the time you will yourself awake till the moment you wake up. Its the craziest thing, I can discribe it or explain it but maybe its my technique. When Im ready to wake from a dream I usually close my eyes and try to Move a portion of my Physical body within my dream like wiggling my fingers or moving my leg. And I can feel the connection from my dream but the ill feeling is when I make that connection. |
Closing my eyes for a long period usually gets me in the void X_X. Usually I just wake up, like boom. Gnerally when something has come to an conclusion. |

As a matter of fact, I had one just the other night. I was being chased by some evil thing in my house and it got to the point where I couldn't take it any more. I just told myself to wake up and I did so. I odd thing about it is that I wasn't lucid dreaming, it was just a normal dream and yet I knew that I could wake up. |
Alright-i was lucid in a dream like 3 hours ago, and i closed my eyes and tried to teleport to get to my destination faster, and right when i closed my eyes in the dream[BAD IDEA] i woke up immidiately. i was mad |
I rarely, if ever, remember dreams (I'm just starting to practice dream recall. I haven't even had one dream yet.) , but in the two in which I was "Lucid" I woke myself up whenever I wanted to. Once I realized it was a dream, I screwed around for a bit and decided to wake up because I wanted to wake up. Big mistake. After those I got all sad because I didn't have any more. |
Don't be so hard on yourself, and take some time and practice recall, even if you dont remember your dreams fully, write down ANYTHING AT ALL, even if its feelings when you wake up. |
Yeah, I'm concentrating quite hard. I'm going to sleep extra early tonight, possibly that will help. |
That is the case with most people...more/better sleep=more/better dreams. |
