      Almost lucid!

      I was dreaming this morning and I remember that I questioned myself in my dream 'Wait a minute, where am I?' and I found that I was dreaming. But instead of going lucid I became fully conscious and I was just laying in my bed. What may have caused this?

      Well, if it was your first LD, you could've been lucid for a split second, but your excitment maybe woke you up right away.
      I'm not sure.

      Being lucid just means that you know that you are dreaming, you dont need to control it.
