Not sure about music...perhaps if you listen to it in the daytime and try to associate it with awareness, reality checking, lucid dreaming, etc. I've heard that recording your voice tends to be quite effective, too. Something to remind you that you are, in fact, dreaming. Worth a shot though, eh? Let us know how it goes!
This might work... seems pretty logical. If you associate that music with RCs and ask yourself are you dreaming every time you hear it, you could play it at a certain time when you are sleeping and hope it would carry over into the dream. You could then become lucid off of that.
Is there any way the music might effect the *mood* of the dream? As in inducing a nightmare with dark ambient, an action dream with metal, and so on and so forth?
If music effects your mood in real life i'm sure it will do so in your dreams.
I want to have a dream with Satie has the background music..
OK, I now have a variety of songs to see how the effect my dreams:
Closer- NIN
Orion- Metallica
Computer Love- Kraftwerk
Set the world Afire- Megadeth
