Lucid Dreaming- Google Trends

The spike in 2010 is definitely related to inception, but I'm not sure what the other ones are. It would be cool if we could figure this out, and raise awareness about LDing period.

Hrmm I honestly have no idea. Although that is around the time I learned of lucid dreaming. I just read the word randomly in a google search and found DV. My guess is there was some hype about sleep dissorders or something of the like. Then people like me found random information related to lucidity. EDIT EDIT EDIT I also think interest in lucid dreaming and other beyond dreaming topics from that time could be related to two things. The X-files: I want to believe. And the TV series fringe. Fring could be one of the main reasons. It deals with things like pyrokinesis, dreams, and other paranormal/psionics related topics. Lucid dreaming can often be included in websites related to the paranormal.

Its just when game makers add new stuff to games, and sometimes it ends up with dreaming related stuff, thus, the gamers google it and end up in several dreaming sites!
